I just started playing in T3/T4 matches, and surprisingly players in this techs are more n00bs than in Tech 2.
I guess that they played only scenarios and think pvp works the same way.
Thats really disappointing…

One of the reasons i just let it be is because i know that the other team is also bound to have a couple nooblets that i can shoot down, anyways win or loose after stressing myself with WoT and EvE i’ve decided to let it go and just enjoy myself.
Work with what you have and with what you can the best you can, the rest leave it in God’s hands or fate or whatever you believe.

New way to play, get snipe frigs, hold bombs on your beacons ftw. I ONLY SEE THAT IN T3, WTF!?
Also people bleam you @ 5mn of the match, cause you try to plant the bomb instead of holding it.
Also do not try to kill ennemey captain while ennemy is winning @ score. Just hold with your shitfrig with your captain. Its better.

Now when im captain, and ive got only lzay xxxx in frigs i dont hesitate to suicide, but i tell them before, just so theu know :).
No im one those crazy phobos/machete/deagle captains with mk4 modules hiding behind rocks near the main bulk of the team chewing everyone stupid enough to try me, i just get pissed at loosing with 20 kills lower because some smartass goes in alone repsawns and dies again, instead of waiting for a group
Tips for T3/4

Use interceptor as a captian, or else you will get a very slow one sided game.

Always worry about getting smashed by a kamakazi interceptor when you are the captian.

Always carry more bombs than your enemy team.

Flank in groups unless your going to kamakazi warp.
-
In domination use interceptors to cap, and frigates to defend.

Use frigates to defend ‘all the things’.
-
Always capture the middle beacon.
-
If failed then try capture the beacon closest to their spawn.

If that fails try to think of the beacons as bacon, because bacon is delicious.

If your going to kamakazi warp, do it when the enemy has frigates/fighters.

Use a lower tech ship to save you from repair costs

Always activate your healing mods at the start

When sniping be sure you are really close to an objective, and keep an eye on the radar.

When in doubt, use a empire legion fighter.
-
If bored, warp into a small rock, you can launch them in the direction you took to hit it.

Always carry pulsar, mines, or both. Inhibitors can help.

Drones die quick, activate them at the start so the cooldown would be off when another set is needed.

If difficult to plant a bomb move in as a group.
-
Splitting up with two bombs can destract a team easily.

Join a corp, be better for you.

As a captian ‘ping’ the enemy that is about to attack you, if you cannot use laser pointers.

While using guided torp, ping at the target when allies are around it so they can be warned ahead of time.

When missiles don’t work, use something else.
-
Don’t die, or else you dont gain monies.
-
When kamakazi, be sure to do it in the name of the emperor.

-When all else fails, use the age old tested, tried and true tactic known as “Explode and die”

I’m not moving to T3 anytime soon, since I’m all about the kamakazi style and a single battle caused me 80k to repair/restock ammo. For T2 is only around 20k. Plus, since Dev changed the loyalty gains, I need a couple month before I reach rank 9 for every faction to use mk3 stuff.

you could of course use a t2 interceptor in t3 to kami with. the Dwarf 2 is good for that, as is the Wasp (altho the 2.5s delay on wasp makes it harder to catch someone by surprise)
Well it’s not like we have a damn choice now is it? Have to use t3 just to not get blapped in a t2 by a t3. (cept using my t3 now usually means i have to fight t4).

Self-destruct does pretty even damage across tier 2/3/4. Ergo it is valid regardless of tier.
I meant about having to use t3s altogether because of the patch
