T2 Heavy Weapons and other unavailable mods

And I’m not talking about random PVE drops like Stasis or Missile Defence system.

Are there any actual plans to remove these? I know for a FACT that players that have played the game for a long time have T2 Heavy Weapons that are no longer available.

A friend has atleast 2x Heavy Railgun and 1x Heavy Laser combined with some 10% ROF Passives that are no longer available in any way to Tier 2.

I can only imagine how much of this stuff corps like ESB have…

Known issue. These modules will be confiscated and reimbursed with credits or gold(premium items) as soon as possible. Devs are working on this.

ESB are playing at T2? Nicknames please…

“Corps like ESB” likely refers to people who behave like ESB is behaving at T4. I.e. organised squads geared in blue/purple farming solo flyers.

Not actual literal “ESB is flying in T2”

A. some T2/T3 (yes this means you ESB corp) have lots of unavailable modules. Meeting a stasis gen equipped opponent in T2 makes me feel like the other guy’s cheating. It’s not a module that I can get, and he’s using it on me. This isn’t a playing field I can do anything to level. It’s tilted, and it’s gonna stay tilted, and it sucks.

B. 4-men-squads gathering to farm solo players? get off that horse, it’s not as if squads have a squad only queue they can access to not get matched against you when they play together. Don’t you want to be able to play with your friends? Sure I get pissed if I see ESB/RISE/ALPHA/TOXIC matched against me repeatably but that doesn’t make me think they are manipulating the drop to put all the squads on one side and all the solo-Q people on the other. Hell I’ve had ALPHA and RISE on my side of things plenty of times too.

C. ESB flies quite a bit of T3. Or, at least that’s what their tags say when they are on the other team and wiping the floor with me.

What I meant was older corps like ESB, which are bound to have tons of unavailable mods because they have played the game since it was first possible to do so.

You can get Stasis as a random drop for T2 but discussing Stasis and other random drops wasn’t the point of this thread, the point was the Heavy Weapons and Passive Mods and god knows what else that older players have left at T2 that others don’t.

Bump.

Well just the other day I was in a T2 PvE and got a T2 overcharged Stasis Generator.

I have been playing since it came out on steam.  I have not noticed this and I have played with members of these corps.  Not saying it doesn’t happen but after over a hundred hours of play I haven’t seen anything op.

Biased opinion is biased.

You are obviously too stupid to notice what Heavy Weapons actually look like…

All opinions are biased. That’s what an opinion is.

But at least you have ad hominem down to a fine art.

I, too, have seen no major issues with modules owned by other players. There’s just too many of us for it to make a significant difference if a few have special gear.

Have fun playing squad vs squad when enemy team has Nukes and Heavy Weapons combined with propably full Epic Fits because they are russians while you have no overpowered modules to speak of.

And takes much longer to grind loyalty to get Mk III… I’m at rank 11 and my contract is only at 7. God knows how many months it will take to get MK III in tier 3 and 4…

Oh well, T2 forever.

Since the Loyalty nerf I have managed to grind one faction from 6 to 9…

Only one left to go to 9 but that will prolly take a month.

From ad homnem to strawman in two quick posts. Well done!

This is a lot of bother about something that isn’t pervasive in nature. If future play modes end up having issues, then the future is where they need to be addressed. Currently there is no significant problem.

Your post makes it sound exactly like you are one of the people abusing Heavy Weapons and other modules in T2.

If you think there is no problem then you obviously don’t have a clue on what you are talking about in squad vs squad games.

I don’t have any Heavy Weapons in T2. So you are wrong on that count.

Your point of view is not so perfect that any disagreement implies cluelessness. I’m playing the same game and have the same sources - I just draw different conclusions.

Strange, the things you consider obvious. Bad assumptions lead to bad conclusions.

I have, indeed, played these games. I just don’t see it as a big problem.

Either way, the devs have explicitly stated how they are going to address orphaned modules. So this is all sophistry.

Yeah, and they have said that for a long time now…

Still waiting…

Propably still waiting in 2 years time aswell…

And Error is not a Dev, just a Mod.
