Since the start of the “Golden Weekend,” none of my synergy bonuses (premium, fleet strength, et cetera) seem to be working, so no matter what I do, I’m only getting 5% in free synergy for each battle.
I’ve been able to verify that this is happening to at least two other users. All three of us have Steam-based clients, but I’m running on a mac and they’re running on PCs. Given that this is a very new problem, and that it affects multiple platforms, I’m disinclined to think it’s a client-side issue, but rather one that’s in the server or its net code.
Is anyone else seeing this?

Could you provide your game log as well ?
Following the procedures, then:
- The free synergy bonuses do not appear to be working, and it appears to be a server-side issue.
- I believe this is a bug because the game specifically states that there should be bonuses to the synergy gained in each encounter as a result of fleet strength, premium licensing, and/or equipment purchased to that end, and I am not receiving any such bonuses. Also, this issue is recent, beginning with the server update associated with the “Golden Weekend.”
- This bug occurs every time I return to the hangar after a PvP match, PvE mission, or Free Roam encounter.
- I can reproduce the bug by completing any PvP match, PvE mission, or Free Roam encounter.
- Upon returning to the hangar, the bonuses that apply to synergy and free synergy do not appear to be taking affect. The total synergy of the ships used in the encounter increases by the amount indicated in the announcement, but the amount of synergy gained is inconsistent with what they should be, given that I have a premium license and a fleet strength of 71%. At the very least, I would expect the free synergy to be 8.55% of the synergy, but it is always 5%. This issue is recent, having started at the onset of the “Golden Weekend” online event, but continues to this very moment. I have been able to confirm that at least two other users (helvetor and bloodangel) are also experiencing this problem. Given that their hardware and clients differ from mine and yet still have the same problem, I am inclined to believe that this is a server-side issue.
- Again, I do not believe it is a client issue (the client itself runs fine), but I am running on a Mac mini with a 2.5GHz i5 processor, 4GB 1600MHz DDR3 ram, and an Intel HD Graphics 4000 GPU.
- Two screenshots are attached to this post: one shows the announcement from a recent PvP match that shows an improper amount of free synergy gained. The second shows my pilot information panel, which demonstrates that I have a fleet strength of 71%
