Summon the pirate baron!

Soo… I noticed the pirate base was added, and there is no Pirate baron although the  Punisher (well, a dummed down version) is on Blackwood shipyard. So I was thinking that maybe there is like a Boss battle which has a guaranteed rare loot drop (not the rare trophies though) and the trophie shows on the radar and does not despawn (except for when the boss is killed again). So maybe the boss is OP and it can one shot a guard frigate, but I honestly want to be able to fight him alongside whoever is in the sector, hence why I think he should be summoned, not automatically spawn and absolutely wreck everyone in the sector. My suggestion to bring him to the sector is to destroy the shield projector and magnafield projectors, and after this the boss spawns with his health bar appearing on top of the screen (under the karma meter)

 

I know this idea is gonna get alot of hate, but I just wanted to voice my opinion… because I really want to verse the baron without worrying about failing the pve.

It will maybe be the home base for those with less than -2 karma. That would be nice. A pirate hangar.

Also, I do agree with spawning the boss, though maybe 3/4 of the health or something? The boss isn’t the only thing to worry about, there is cartel and other pvp players there. So it would make sense to make the boss a bit weaker because of those factors.

Good point, that. Maybe make him drop four semi-rare, approximately equal-value loots? Three man squads can just deal with it, I guess.

Kill the baron then … As soon as go for your loot a squad that’s been hiding behind a rock rush in and finish everyone off… We be pirates arrrr.

I was thinking of having the loot spawn as seperate instances for each player (client side, not server side) so that no one misses out
