I noticed it few times today, enemy ship is suiciding at low health to not let me score a kill, just assist. When someone refer it as “strategic” I refer it as rude and unfair. The suicider should lose a point when doing that, excluding self-destruct module.

What does it matter whether you got an assist or a kill? he died, and possibly took you with him, but so be it

i usually get the kill if someone suicides… there are some t2 ppl who got the nice idea to take me out of the match no matter what but hey! combat reboot ftw :D.
but yeah, i am sure you get the kill on suicide. what buggs me more is that i sometimes get a debuff assist even if i do not have any debuffs and dealt damage to the enemy. can someone explain this?
