Stingray takes way too much collision damage

The Stingray takes unbearably large amounts of damage from collisions. To repeat the issue simply run in to stuff or players. It happens 99.9999% of the time. 100% of my hull strength was just recently taken out by a single non-AB speed collision.

To be honest, that’s true. Happened to me as well and was the main reason why I stopped playing it.

i am dissapointed i found a stingray in OS and killed it with 2 shots from Veronica i was expecting to 3 shots+ a missile but i guess thats the pilots mistake with crap build

The stingray judging by the stats is a glass cannon. Catch one off guard and it’s as good as dead.

True enough. Though I must admit that it’s little overdrive makes it pretty speedy for a whole 4 seconds.

It has the hull and shield volume of an interceptor and takes damage like a frigate. But good thing I can fly a bit faster for 4 seconds every once in a while.

Interceptors, fighters and frigates have same collision “formula”, and take same amount of dmg under same circumstances, including StingRay, there is nothing special about it it takes same collision dmg as any other Fed fighter.
