More than a few patches now where Steam does not auto-update Star Conflict. What to do?

usually it helps to restart steam.
many times. does not work with the latest patch.
You can choose to either start up star conflict, which for me forced it to update.
Or you can restart steam and it will update.
Steam also keeps a process running in the background. Make sure you kill it after quitting Steam.
