When you switch stations do you switch the people you talk to? 

 

For example, when you see go to Jericho station you can talk to the players who are usually at the Jericho Station.

 

Or is chat global? Meaning you can talk to anyone regardless of which station they are docked in.

Chat is indeed Global. Which Station you are in effects which Invasion daily you can do (one for each station) and obviously where you spawn in space.
