I’m looking to get a Chromebook, (http://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/devices/chromebooks.html#hp-pav) as eventually I will not be able to use my desktop. Does anyone know if it is compatible with Steam and Star Conflict? If anyone knows, or has an idea where to find such information out, that would be great help.
Hello
I cannot find the according graphic device there, but due to the low specs I am afraid that it will not run very smooth - if it runs.
Greetings
Error
The GPU is inbuild in the CPU:
Intel® Celeron® 847 with Intel HD Graphics (1.1 GHz, 2 MB cache, 2 cores)
I wouldn’t expect stellar performance out of this. Steam will work fine, some of the netbook-optimized games will run very well on it but I would make the assumption you cannot _ realistically _ play Star Conflict. It might run - the performance just wont be good enough for any form of competitive play. Perhaps someone with specs close to this can shine a more definite light on this.
Based on my experience with a i5-480M’s integrated graphics, that processor+IGP won’t run SC at playable framerates. Mine would give playable framerates on lowest graphics settings and the 480M is a full power chip, not a ultra-low-voltage chip like the one you are looking at. Basically, what EvilTactician said.
