A dramatic amount of spam on the wiki has made it essentially unusable. Looks bad.

Ah I thought someone might have put their troll hat on, if I scoured the site long enough I was expecting to find brunette minotuar and blonde castor
Reverted the spam.
Unfortunately I don’t have admin or delete rights so I can’t get rid of old pages, nor can I properly do anything about spammers.
Re: maintenance: We tried to maintain detailed ship pages, weapons and modules but the pace of balance changes made it difficult to keep up manually. Snib actually wrote a script to create and submit ship pages automatically, but the data dumps from Stargem that it ran off were updated very infrequently so it would have been about as bad as manual updates anyway.
My “solution” has been to strip out anything that’s a blatant lie (though I can’t delete pages so some of the lies like old ship pages are still there, but unlinked) and otherwise keep things generic; no individual ship pages, general descriptions of ship roles, modules and weapons but no detailed stats.
Could do with someone to supply me with an update of the Sector Conquest page, since I don’t play sector conquest myself.
