I really don’t like this new trend of giving new weapons and modules that are event only. I won’t mind if they were open space only, or they were just cosmetically different from the current modules.
The most blatantly case now are the flux phaser and the mass driver. Both weapons are really good with the correct build, but if I start playing now, I won’t be able to get them.
Now this new halloween module, which in the correct hands and map (tube map, I’m looking at you) can be truly devastating. And if I happen to be offline due to a trip or just because I can’t play due to RL reasons, then it is gone, pufff, nada, nothing. Same as if I start playing in two weeks.
Other than that, the patch is all right. The new Naberia mission is better than the defence contract, since at least you have some cover to face the cruiser, and the cruiser spawns close to your last wave position, so it is easier to disable the engines and finish the ship.

The best cover is ‘inside’ the cruiser. Park right between those barrel things at the center of the cruiser and just shoot and fly with it. :fed004:

What is point if i take my Saw One with increased effect on modules…
I deal 110.6% shield dmg for 7 sec to all enemies in big radius…that is so OP and i think that need to be nerfed because you just destroyed Jericho faction with this Shield Havoc.
Make that module deal EM damage or reduce radius range or % of shield dmg/s.
It is true dmg to shields so doesnt matter if you fly jericho guard or jericho covert ops you lose full shield(27k shield vs 5-6k) LOLOLOL

Thank you for the opinion. I think it’s too early to judge about is it OP or not. We are monitoring this matter.
I notice that the shield havoc does seem to expand slowly and isn’t a massive radius, and only lasts 4 sec. So it can be avoided. I haven’t used it myself yet however.

It’s pretty easy now, just 222 instead of 666.
Do something about this event. People keep disconnecting from any PvE that is not Defence Contract or Fire Support, because phases beside first spawn almost no pumkin targets. Its annoying.

Just one thing I have just found. The Phase suppresor weapon on a recon holoship debuffs you as if it were the real ship.

They probably do and I end with them choosing random mission, but I just want to pass random PvE for purple spot and x2, but obviously I cant because people leave.
It’s immensely annoying that every ship around your HUD appears as a pumpkin instead of the actual ship role icon. Also there’s this glitch that you can tell a holoship from its owner because of the pumpkin (the holoship doesn’t have one).
Since every single ship kill in PvP counts towards this event, why make those icons at all? It’s not like they have any use.
Regarding the new module, it’s good there’s an anti frigball tool, but the range is icky. Outside of BH/Domination it’s alright, but around beacons it does seem kind of OP. Not sure if it you can turn it off with an ECM, but if you can’t - you should be able to.
