They don’t feel on-par? They are vastly superior come on. If you can’t compete with Cruise Engine Tacklers in your Interceptor, the problem lies on you. 

 

As Eviscerador said none of the veteran and hardcore players except NERW is using that xxxx build.

Wait a sec, now any debuff let you drop the bomb in detonation? Argh.

Basically all the new things that were stated to stop beacon capture, i.e. ecm overload, sensor supression of any sort. Includes command missiles.

No afaik, that was changed. You also cannot capture the bomb in the metastable field. However if you are caught in the shock wave from metastable field with the bomb, you drop it.

So now ECMs are kinda even more OP, and the devs failed to do anything on the cruise tackler issue which seems to have only just become an issue within the community despite the essential pieces for the problem being released so long ago.

You must be new to the forum, because complaints about drone spamming cruise Tacklers certainly aren’t.

After every battle I am now rewarded with this crap. It seems to be getting longer and longer…

Also, it seems the matchmaker would be better of sorting people by equipment rather than “skill rating”. Most pilots are the same, better equipment also comes with more experience because of the high grind.  Or even just random would be better than putting all the people with one ship or t3 ships on one side for 5/10 matches…

A couple of serious complaints:

  • With this patch, dreadnought defense %s aren’t going up at all. For any reason. Not even if you’re attacked and recalled, or no-showed. You just don’t. Get. Percent.
  • The patch note that says being able to construct gear while the dreadnought is not in the shipyard is false. If the dreadnought is stationed elsewhere, you cannot build anything, just like before.

I like a lot of the new implementations. I really do. But this stuff needs to get fixed, and soon. It’s ridiculous how poorly done it’s been, and it’s seriously beginning to degrade my confidence in this game.

I suppose that more than one person can be considered “people” but the number of players complaining is very small. If cruise tackler is so good, fly it!

havent played or testet any thing havent been able to even see a dreadnough, been looking thow. its seams to me that if u are not in a good corp you wont ever battel one or even see one… how about making a pvp pvw mode were theres a dreadnought peeps could fly with or agenst?! sadly there is still nothing for me to do in this game any more. id sickens/sadens me how much this game is trying to lure players with new dread vidio when the truth is they wont see a dread for a loong time…iv been wishing for big ship battels since day one, when it finaly comes its only for the eliete few…thats rly no way to make a game mode. devs why u keep adding stuff nobody asks about? the “new” ships emm u mean paint job its a old ship redone and it sucks thats all u can come op with. i wanna join a que for dread battel with my friends is thats so hard?!

yes, dreadnought battle is a corporate mode, BUT it’s absolutely possible for pilots to join it. Closer to the battle date a lot of the corporations post announcement in the chat and forum about required participants. So it’s only needed to inform them that u have a desire to take part in it. Try to check it out i’m sure it will impress u. But we will consider ur suggestion of making it more available for pilots who r currently not in any corporation. Speaking about the new ships. Yes they might look visually similar to the previous but what they r really valuable for the unique set of characteristics and modules. And if u have further ideas our team will be happy to discuss them.

My screen only accepts 60fps despite having a 120Hz panel :confused: There doesn’t seem to be much benefit having more than 60fps and the v-sync is off anyway. No point taxing the GPU not that SC is very taxing ;p

That would be great to have some training missions with dreadnoughts or even better couple of pve with dreadnoughts in them so ppl can easily understand and get to used to the dread battle dynamic…

Obviously the more locations to capture the more chance to get a dread battle for every corp :wink:

Thank u for this suggestion. we’ll collect the feedback further about this idea. But for now the idea of dreadnought battles was supposed to be an extra challenge for experienced pilots. And having a training mode would reduce this effect. There is a possibility for training and it’s to join a corporation for some particular battle.

Cruise tackler setup was what I ran with my silent fox when I decided to level it. It was fun I will admit, but not very viable if you come under fire from a recon or multiple fighters

1)about dreadnought defense%. it should grow. there is a guide in the forum with exact numbers if needed. if it doesn’t, please leave a bug report.

  1. alright. there is some mismatch in understanding this phrase. What was implied is that u still have to be at the doc at the moment when the collecting resources for constructing starts, but u don’t have to wait in it till the end of collecting.

Not much to bother since it’s a problem related to low population. It happens, when there are few people in que, that for some matches you could have the same squad over and over. 

Imagine if Drone’s Tackler Players stop dropping their drones in front of the ennemy but start dropping them on the flanks, above and belows their targets.

It is just frustrating when teams seem mismatched with one side all 4 ships per person, and the other has people with just one ship or some lower tier ships that they cannot use (or simply has much lower tier ships), especially in the “Capture the Beacons” mode. In most cases it seems people with the better equipment perform better.

 

There also seems to be a period of time after a battle where it asks me whether I want to return to battle, then tells me I can’t/and/or the battle is finished, has my ships locked in battle, then after 3-15 seconds it finally “finishes” the battle and notifies me of rewards, and takes a further number of seconds to refill my ammo. During which time I cannot re-queue or do anything else because “The battle is not over” or “maximum pilots in battle reached” or “The battle IS over” then, “Do you wish to replenish ammo on ships?” even though auto repair is on, it is lagging with it. This lag didn’t occur before even before the “distributing rewards” timer in the score screen, which adds a further 5 seconds wait. I thought this timer was meant to reduce lag after you returned to hangar but it seems to make it longer…

 

I came to play yesterday and had a more than frustrating 2 hours of unbalanced losses combined with this “Hangar Lag” after every battle which made things worse. I know that there will be winning and losing streaks but it seems we are waiting minutes for matchmaker to create a battle that ends in ways that would be the same if you just put random pilots together due to the unbalance that occurs.
