Star Conflict v.1.0.7 Discussion

My fears appear to have been validated. Latest frontier mission demanded six interceptors R7+ and even using all my pvp and pve ready inties I managed only moderate chance of success.

I seriously doubt that proper planning went into this content.

Sending all ships with no equipment whatsoever gives you 50%. Ranks don’t matter.

Sending full purple gives you 90 something.

I already have 4 missions going on, all with stripped ships. As I said, free money and loot.

Are there missions, which require use of T5 ships and many of them of the same class, for the most dangerous/toughest assignments?

If so, what are those rewards?

You get the whole list if the mission is successful. If you fail, you don’t get them.

One issue i see, besides the very low rewards, is the mission generation script don’t seem to look for what ships you have available (and plenty of). Like i got several rank 10 missions, and lots of rank 7… But i only have 1 rank 10 ship, and a handful of Tier 3, unlikely i will spare them much for those missions. I have lots of Tier 2, couldn’t the game have a higher odd of giving me missions for those ships (only got one so far)?

You get the whole list if the mission is successful. If you fail, you don’t get them.

even on success you don’t get the whole list, you get parts of the list if your rewards isn’t a 100%.

 

My first returned mission, which was partially equipped and unequipped ships, brought home 3 Silicon and a few credits, but the full reward clearly had monocrystals in it.

 

It’s not worth the clicking to be honest.

you can always cancel some of the missions you for sure not want to make - and keep the ones which you can do for later. Every time there is another mission in the queue, you can cancel a previously offered one, and the next appears. So you can keep those open you want to do and “queue” the next one. Not a solution to the problem, but at least, you can pick a bit this way every day, what you might do or might not do later, as long as your mission ships are busy.

I’m already cancelling missions, but i only get even more of those high rank missions. 

My feedback:

  • Missions: very good idea, but in this format really useless.
    I’ll send my ships if I can get: Monocrystal, Loyalty, 500k+ Credit/day, Computing chip, Graphite, synergy.
  • The Tacker buff (drone spam) are still a serious problem makes the T5 games boring. 
  • The ECM spam also.
  • Still no indidation for squads, still has to chat and still waste 10min/queue sometime.
  • SpecOps doesn’t give purple loot just every 3 day… why?

Otherwise this was a nice patch.

This also highlights the second, major problem with this content; Frontier Missions aren’t something you do while playing, they are something you do INSTEAD of playing! 

 

The concept is good, but the execution is fundamentally flawed.

I have all missions filled and I still have a lot of ships to spare. I’m not sending my playing ships, I’m sending the empty carcasses that I have in my shipyard. So I’m getting abour 60k credits everyday.

 

You would say that reward is very small. But afterall, before that I didn’t had any.

The problem is that while a little is better than nothing, it’s breadcrumbs. The fact that most of those missions NEED 6 T3+ fully synergyzed carcasses to even have a chance at completing it (50%) is terrible.
