Some troll players start to overspam rockets on ships that have >1 hull slots. 3 EM missiles in 2s or Piercing Missiles Machine gun is not fun. Before change it was limited with cardridge reload time, now its shortened to 30s or so.

I was thinking of making a Styx with 3x pylons/Octopus but reload time is 3.8 second, can’t do much “trolling” like this

It’s not trolly anyway, it’s just a different build. Now pylons have some use at least. I can’t understand people complaining about this. Maybe Flares will have now more use too.
Deimon with 3x Pylons, beacon hunt, went straight to 2d beacon since my team went frig ball so we lots 1st beacon the moment we spawned, by the time fight came to 2d beacon, was able to drop almost 3 full cartridges worth of proxi mines, 3 recons warped to the beacon went to cool off on resp the moment they came out of warp.
Those are pure derp builds… They have missile spam but no resists!
It’s so easy to kill 3x pylon ship.
3x Pylons is a “derp” build fun to play, but 90% of the time something else would’ve done a better job. But look at a single pylon, how much benefit it provides, 47% Cartridge reload AND 47% each missile reload boost. this is HUGE dps boost, most of the time this module outperforms majority of Hull slots out there, easily making it a “a must” module, and if ship can’t afford to use it, you better bring something else

Yes, I’m sure a module with 30secs cooldown (last I checked) has a LOT of use against missiles that are fired every 2 seconds…
3x plyons will reload the full missile cartridge in almost the same time as the flares reload, not op at all >.>
My point exactly. Once again, changes that are merely 10% thought through for every perspective. The other 90% is… what we just discussed. Point in case: Missile Pylons. While having them affect magazine reload timers is a good thing… The reload %s are RIDICULOUS.
Point in case: Attack Drones. Having their stats affected by implants is all fine and dandy… but their speed is basically reduced to zero and their AI has become… stupid. More than usual. A LOT more.
