Exactly. I mean, why would anyone. So the logic alternative to salvage is Mk2. That just doesn’t give you enough materials for its cost…
Waiting for one of the ‘600 mil credits in the bank’ pilots to come and insist that duplicators are still dirt cheap and nobody should complain.
they were cheap before the patch, not anymore. too much grind in this game, it scares new players away. but the reality is even if they are cheap to make or buy, no one will use them if no one else in pve is using them, i dont think half the new players even know they exist let alone how to make one. using a duplicator is not a thing you see often so until it becomes a common occurance they are useless. no one will use it in pve and then revive themself only to be killed again instantly because all the AI mobs are shooting them since everyone else has died. developers and supertesters will only notice this sort of thing when they test the game on live servers with randoms in the matchmaker which i am pretty sure never happens
