Recons are also good at escaping from enemies in most cases plus you can see them from a long distance if you put lots of scanners on.
a Guard is slow and has no cloak or jump drive. Against a pirate / alien swarm it has no chance.

I do pretty well with my T-Rex mkII or Patriarch? and see plenty of solo guard ships doing the same only the larger bio morph groups are trouble (anything more and 1x hunter 3x bio i canāt handle solo) also guards can defend quite well against gankers, I killed 2x [CE] corp lightbringers last night when they tried to double team my Patriarch (I was just minding my own business), unfortunately for them I forgot to fit my EM build for biomorphs and still my had 2x Mk.4 Thermal modulators fitted and had my Phase Shield set to Thermal and they were using IonsĀ :fed014:

Of course in case of such sitatuions youāre prepared.
But prepared to the multiple functions of the recon in invasion the guard is nothing.
But it donāt change the fact that youāre a slow & big target. Two skilled pilots, one with EM & one with Thermal would kill each frigate in their range. That those 2 used Ions was just luck. And that they died was lack of knowledge.

Love this location, i can farm players in this sector very good.
Itās like they spawn automatically there. Sometimes with valuable loot.

The problem with OmegaFighter, is that when I play against him, he choose a Covert ops and focus on me.
This thing havenāt been working for me for months. tried different values, making new .xml it keeps showing something but definitely not current queue distribution.
Here is the screen from 20 minutes ago (12.34 PM Ā Eastern time) but it stays very similar to this through the whole day, even during peak RU hours.

Yeah, i had my notifications setup this way for god knows how many moths, only to show match results and influence gained. Had to track everything manualy later i figured that you can have ti on but moneyz were gone by then :DD

Outside the 3 months of Monocrystals, it doesnāt really seem worth the GS. Iād rather just get all the materials from salvaging PVP loot. In fact, thatās probably a reasonably amount of loot several weeks of PVP salvaging could get you. At least then youāre making progress with credits and syn, and not just dumping cash into crafting materials.
