Star Conflict: The ‘Invasion’ has begun!

This is why I posted suggestions about pushing vets up to T4 and out of T3…

I like being given “incentive” to move up better than being pushed. They removed Lightweight hull from T3 back in the day, and one of their more recent patches removed Submatter shield from T3. So they are slowly destroying T3 in the hopes that players will desert their T3 premium/DLC ships and go to T4 where they will also get murdered by T5s.

If they are serious about getting players to move up, stop requiring that they leave all their nice items in the tier below them. Let players upgrade their DLC ships into the next tier so they can take it with them! Removing modules isn’t the way to encourage player progression.

That’s exaactly what I suggested, among other things.

at what time will it be for sever maintenece?

Oh cool, I entered a danger zone lvl 7 (first ‘neutral’ area) for some pvp/pve action and instantly got killed by a fully-geared T5. What, I’m stuck with PVE or normal PVP until im T5 too? I can understand that you can’t get to the frontier sector until you are ready, but this is just rediculous.

Welcome to Null Sec the Frontier.

Alright, so the new craftable ships look cool, even though I still don’t have an idea what I need to make one other than Credits and be of the right Rank.

The graphic effects are cool too.

I don’t really have an issue with new T5 Premiums in this type of game, although it’s a bit odd to have this many THIS high-up in rank when introducing an open world where higher rank ships rule.

… and now the thing I don’t get:

O.K., I have to ask, but why the heck did you guys get rid of the reconstruction/rez mechanic in PvE? There is no way in heck I’m paying 200GS for a respawn, but I can see how SOME people would like that ability on some particularly tough missions when there is no chance of a respawn but they want another chance to help-out… but to remove the free reconstruction all together?

This is not a good way to get money out of me, since I simply won’t pay for respawns, but it’s one heck of a reason for me to have second thoughts about buying 5/6 of your DLCs at this point (4 of which were not purchased on a sale)… I mean I’m supposed to have fun, right? It’s not fun getting stuck against endless waves of bots on certain missions trying to hold-on with just 2 players when somebody made a simple mistake… not for the rewards we get, at least.

Case in point: (Sorry, I don’t have the screenshot currently, since I’m at work.) A 5.7K Efficiency game for me in a semi-upgraded Rank 7 Engineer and a 6.7K Efficiency game for a top-upgraded player in a Rank 9 Guard in a T3 PvE match on the Dreadnaught map (disabling the turrets). My wife in my group and some other random guy died in the first few minutes by mistake, so just the 2 of us were left trying to destroy endless waves of bots just trying to capture the bases. On that first mission alone, I had over 160 kills and over 200 assists, and he had over 200 of both. With Premium, 5/6 DLCs (some of which boost Synergy and Credit earning), and a Fleet Strength of 59 I only made 25K Synergy on a Daily Double and something around 350K credits… after over 25 minutes of trying to stay alive. On a separate note, is it just me or is the Synergy earning rate nerfed? I could earn over 40K synergy at T2 PvP with the daily x2 and with MUCH less Efficiency in the match… now I’m earning 25K with a higher Fleet Strength, an extra +10% from a DLC I bought yesterday, and perhaps the highest Efficiency I have ever earned in a match?

I am not complaining (o.k., maybe just a little), however I have to question what was the purpose of me trying to stay alive that long to finish the game with 3 players (since that one useless random disconnected after I guess he assumed we would fail the first mission when there were only 2 of us alive), if my final reward is actually less than what it would have been had I done 3 simple PvPs even without the daily double? Why could I not rez at least my wife’s ship FOR FREE like before to be able to finish the mission reasonably faster? Is my $120 not enough to at least be able to have a tiny larger chance to complete missions when a teammate or I make a mistake?

I’m not even going to bring-up the Boosters which now appear to only affect specific ships instead of ALL of your ships and require a ridiculous amount of GS to buy, with no Credit-equivalent like there was last patch. Seriously, that’s the definition of P2W when you give paying players Boosters that increase their performance over non-paying members… and as a paying customer, it makes me feel a bit “nickel and dimed” having to now pay GS for something I used to be able to do for Credits or for free… especially after spending so much cash on this game already.

So seriously, can we have our free respawns in PvE and credit-based Boosters back already?

NOTE: I have no problem with the GS-only boosters that increase loot, credits, or synergy, it’s the ones that boost ship stats I have an issue with… and yes, it could be that I’m not remembering correctly and that maybe all the ship-stat Boosters were removed, and only the loot/credit/synergy boosters are left…

Alright, apparently there is a cheap way to get Reconstructors and the SECOND booster slot is for non-GS Boosters that boost stats… no P2W here… nothing to see here >_>…

Around 90% of pve rewards come from completing it.that is the reason people rush the scenarios.

Concerning the reconstruction, you can craft that thing, and it is really cheap.

The second booster slot is not for GS, but for credits only. The boosters for ship stats like speed, damage and resistances, etc. still only cost credits.

Maybe I’m just being paranoid, but it seems the reason for changing booster location was because the price now scales with the tier they are applied to…

Either that or they upped the price by 20K on the credit ones.

I did not know that! :open_mouth:

Thanks for the enlightenment! I will be researching how to produce those reconstruction ASAP.

Holy ***… I thought they were the same like before, I guess once again, thank you for the clarification.

I guess it’s a good thing I “did not mention” the boosters, huh? lol

O.K., if the mechanics just slightly changed to what was already there but they are still there in some form, I remove my gripe from the equation.

Booster effects were increased. Correct me if im wrong

No, they’re the exact same as before.

What you call “early access” was just a CBT on a new game mode, everyone still had access to PvP and PvE. In addition, you could access the CBT with X achievement points. Also, ManaPool gave away one thousand CBT Invasion keys, that came with 6000 gold standards.

If you call that paying for early access, excuse me sir, but you’re stupid, and you’re right to hate this company because you can’t even understand how it works.

Blahblah

I understand you try to defend your investment, *removed flame*, but I speak the truth.

No, you don’t. You speak from a wrong point of view. The point of view of an angry immature that doesn’t understand how a game works.

Again, there was no early access in this game. Invasion released in a CTB state because players kept asking about it. To make everything easier for the devs to collect feedback and fix bugs, the Beta Test of the Invasion was closed. And only players that supported the game either by playing a lot (getting 1000 achievement points) or players that supported the game economically (having spent 6000 GS) could play that beta test.

Even with that (and again), a few days later thousands of Beta Keys were given. Considering the max population at peak hours would be 2000 players at much, 1000 keys (that came with a lot of gold) is a huge gift.

If that’s treating your customers like garbage. I’m ok with being “garbage”.

I am sorry you didn’t like Star Conflict, but please use your time and energy on something that doesn’t make you look stupid.
