Nice to see Gajin adress a few issues the community has been venting. I see decent measures and tweaks, looking forward to see how they work out.
I am however a bit doubtfull on the “flat” buff of the interceptors, since the ceptors just struggle in the higher tiers, in t1 and t2 they seem to do fine IMO.

Makes me wonder really. In t2 whenever I loaded up my recon or CO, I didn’t feel I was all too weak, It just felt like I had a smaller window to spread pain compared to my fighter/tackler/engineer with six guns.
ECM felt weak as xxxx, even if they disabled me I could laugh away from it most time since pugs were uncoordinated.
Interested to see where these changes lead, but if I can sword some more fatties now for greater success, I’ll probably be doing that.
I have a question regarding the new Engineers and their Drones:
What happens if the Drones are destroyed by enemy action? Do they automatically rebuild after a set amount of time?
What if only one Drone is lost? Will it rebuild or is it lost ‘forever’ until the second Drone is out of action? Currently, a player can manually reset their Drones, and I personally do not want to lose that functionality; being stuck with one Drone can be a noticeable downside at times.
They buffed Interceptors. Guys do you know what that means right?

Jericho shield drops? Their tank is flimsy as it is, you should be increasing it, tbh…

Less 20% for lightweight hull… just means that instead of giving a for example 20% speed increase it will only give 16%… its knocking 20% off the current total bonus… not lowering the % by 20 points.

Overall Patch looks good… not crazy about the 6 to 4 gun frigate, and not crazy about not picking when drones come back… as they tend to get blown to pieces when a fat man farts near you no matter what you do… Would be nice if they were a little more durable, or if they had some sort of resist to help them out as they are the only defense to anything not in your front 100 degree of view if your out of minefields
On a side note… Lego, your an awesome pilot, always good to fly with you, always a pain to fly against as well as some of the groups ive Seen to DYN, depending on group of course.
Nasa Guys… I have alot of respect for the pilots of yours who… dont nuke spam in 4 on 4 w/ 3 strongs and an engineer against a PUG group… Thats just cheesy and fairly lame. Props to Lagops, Jaridan for letting me fly with them, and Mustachio’s crew who regularly decimates me in t3 without nuke spam!

Oh? So that just means Command Fighters are a tad overpowered, just like I said on the same post that you chose to completely ignore past the 2nd line. Command fighters don’t die 1v1. Guards, if played well, don’t die 1v1. You should be on those CF/G fights for quite a long time (a pair of minutes, at least). So, to me, that means you’re just ganging up on them, as you should do. Nicely done, lad.
Now, go tell those Guard pilots to not get ganged on or try and fight them 1v1 on that, because I find Katana S’ to be extremely flimsy when I fight them on my Prometheus 2. And I use lasers on that, which is terrible.

why limiting the turret count on engineer frigates? i’ve trouble to stay alive without having less firepower…
(atleast increase the drone hull life…they don’t survive a small missile which is ridiculous…)
did they fixed the mobile barrier so it’ll block pulsars? did they made it bigger, so it can be usefull protecting someone or is it still a one ship shield?
Remember folks its not the ship, its the pilot on how he uses the ship.
I stick with interceptors cause I like zipping buy at 700 M/s and completely ruining your day…I’m that fly in your room that buzzes around but can never kill.
Yeah but this should balance things out. I personally say they should put back the turrets to 6 on both frigate types and make the sniper frigates more useful, especially the jericho frigates…
If you stayed up all night like I did because you wanted to play the new patch soon as possible, I think the universe is telling us to stop opening the Launcher and get some xxxx sleep! :glasses:

Nice patch considering I’m a covops junkie. However I wish the turret engy frigates lost were passed on to guard frigates, which I think need a wee boost.
Was also hoping to see targeting reticle improvements - like one that I can actually see when things get hairy.
