List of changes:

General changes

* Added in test mode:“Friend” System: detailed description can be found in the wiki (http://forum.gaijine…-chat-commands/)

* Modified reputation system:

-Important: In connection with this change all players will be given the opportunity to change their faction when entering the game after you have installed the update

-Important: The ability to change the current faction at any time will be implemented in the next update

* For experimental purposes added skeletons of ships that remain after their destruction

* In preparation for opening access to ships of Jericho a part of the new content is included in the current update (but it is not aviable in the game at the moment)

Game balance: General

* Fixed exchange rates on loans

* All starter ships cost now 0 credits

* Reduced price for factional T1 modifications

* Reduced price for selling unnecessary things

* Recovery time “warranty” increased

* Removed the Tech Level for the Items that are sold at the end of the battle

Game balance: Matchmaking

* Bug from the last patch was fixed, now it works correctly:

-The larger the team, the stronger the enemies will fall. 2 Players squads are equal to single players.

Contracts: General

* Modified reputation system:

-Most of the reputation is now awarded for fighting on the ships of the desired faction

-Contracts now don’t play the primary role in the development of the player, but provide an opportunity to develop a little bit faster and receive additional awards

-Number of reputation from the fullfillment of contracts reduced

-The number of contracts that a player can run at a time is reduced

-The player can perform contracts only for his faction

-Important: In connection with this change all players will be given the opportunity to change their faction when entering the game after you install the update

-Important: The ability to change the current faction at any time will be implemented in the next update

Ships: General

* Significantly reduced dispersion of weapons

* Slightly reduced total damage of all weapons

* Added: Durability for ships and modules:

  • When the ship is shot down the durability of the ship and all modules installed on it reduces.

  • Modules purchased at the store have raised durability. Modules found among the debris have reduced durability

  • These changes will not affect modules which are already in the possession of players

  • Access to quick repair a ship or a module on their icon

  • Full repair of the ship with all the equipment through the old repair button

* Fixed a bug with the crosshair (primarly lasers)

* Reduced energy consumption for EMP weapons

* Reduced dispersion for heavy armament modifications

Weapons and modules: Railgun

* Increased optimal range

* Module “Micro Warp” tries to pull the ship out of warp if it detects an obstacle in front of the ship

-Reduced the damage on early leves, but upgraded for T3 and above

Interface: General

* Added hangar pop-up interface for event notifications

* Improved icons for ships

* Removed: Change tips during booting time

* The maximum length of the password was increased to 127 characters

* Added possibility to limit your game performance (fps) in active and background mode

Interface: Chat

* General Chat is visible during the battle

* Messages from the enemy team will not be

* Added ability to configure some aspects of the game through chat commands:

  1. Showing information about the matchmaking queue

Disable: /set cl_showMmQueueInfo 0

  1. New damage indicator for attack damage and incoming damage:

Attack damage is displayed at the right side of the crosshair. Incoming damage isnt visible.

Attack damage is displayed at the right side of the crosshair. Incoming damage is shown left next to your hull/shield bar.

Correction of errors

* Attempt to fix the “black screen” bug

* Fixed a bug which caused the server to crash

* Fixed a bug that resulted where the ship in spectator mode could not be seen on the tactical map

* Bug fixed, which led to some players contracts being dumped

* Some changes for the Bots

Nice update! At least Smartbomb/Pulas nerved!

But new Contract System? It was strange to get less rep by fighting and much by fullfilling the contracs but now its kinda vice versa? Well need to have a look on it.

Edit: Wow so damn less rep for contracts now… Only need to sign them is to get Credits…

Also the new Module System will be interresting. They reciev damage if the ship gets destroyed and need to be repaired after battle. But it might be too expensive, im always short on Credits. If all ships are lost and the game is a loss, i loose Credits from repairment and refill ammo. This can be a hard change for non prem players.

Edit: Glad every existing Player has farmed a good pack of equipment that doesnt need to be repaired at all…

Cant wait to get my hands on Jericho. The Concepts are awesome! Any ETA for release?

I’m advancing faster now then before the patch. It’s much easier to optimise for finishing a match then for killing stuff with a given ship/module.

The contract change is… well, bad.

The faction change is temporary, but i fear that the change of faction will not be free, pay more gold! Time will tell how greedy will they become and how much that apparent greed will leave the game lobby a desolate desert.

And now, the cherry on top, new module repair cost will give you a grand total of xxxx all in earned after game credits if you lost so much as a single ship. Really bad.

To judge by my first battle under this patch…the advantage higher tiers have over lower was increased substantially. Since not one dogfight I was in lasted more than 5 seconds.

This is still Beta so the balance is not final. We are still collecting feedback for the next patches.

No, you still have the reputation in your faction, you just need to reselect the faction you want to play in.

I stupidly selected the warden faction instead of legion when I pressed the imperial faction, is there no way to change back now? :frowning:

Please stay patient until the next patch, as mentioned you should than be able to swith your faction.

I have a question. I also accedently selected the wrong faction. I didnt worry to much because it said that i would progress my faction by using thier ships. But i dont progress at all. I dont get any reputation for the ships I use. Is this intended?

You should be able to progress the other faction. Are you using the ships of the faction you want to push?

Yes I am. I’ve tryd some things. But in the end it doesnt matter if i use a Arma/Vanguard Ship or a Vangaurd only ship i dont gain any influence.

I also just noticed that when I use autorepair it will say in the log “x amount used to repair ship and moduls” but when i selct the ships I always have to repair the modules again! This is just stupid. If I loose all 3 ships in a fight it cost more money to replenish amo and repair then I get for the battle …

Still waiting New class ships :smiley: (Gunship,Corvette,Destroyer Etc.)

i don’t think those classes will be used ever. maybe for clan wars.

(and maybe for the future) but for now, they will focus only on the three. once they get the math for the guns (including ranking speed) then they can implment new classes easily.

don’t plan to see them by the launch. plan a year or so first.

Gold as already mentioned a couple of times, at the moment there are no bigger ships planned, only the clan ship.
