This topic serves for discussion of patch 0.9.9. Update 2 

I have many complaints, first Get rid of disintegrators. They are so over powered they partially wreck the game. the other things that have just caused me to hate the new update are the rockets don’t spawn with your ship and the automated voices are glitchy.

That is a good thing to be honest. Many Players wanted it that way to stop abusive behavior: 

I.e. Spawn with a frigate, fire 3 Torps at a beacon, selfdestruct and repeat.  

While I do agree on stopping abusive behaviour I just find it funny to imagine how it could be in the SC universe.

-Because your team-mates are needing you with or without missiles ! So close your mouth and go die for : the glory of the Empire/the power of democracy/the domination of the technology

Good one. Find an explanation why you get rearmed in mid-combat? 

 

Yet, I still find the whole concept of rearming missiles very odd. Even one of the great grandfathers of all Space Shooters, Wing Commander, had limited Missiles. 

yup I agree for ream while in combat (I never understood why this game had this).

But for the “the other needs you with or without it” that sounds strange. they prefer loosing a ship than taking time to arm it xD.

With my T2 Guard all I used to rack up kills was the default laser.  Mostly because long range missile strikes are unreliable and my guard only gets 3 before I have to wait(now 2mins) until I get more so using the main weapon is more suited.  Granted a lot of times I only get assists because of the heating issue with the lasers but it still is effective.  While I am at it, having only 3 missiles is really idiotic.  I am flying a frigate and only have 2 laser cannons and 3 missiles.  on my Recon interceptor I survived for more than 60secs with 11 Hull Points left strafing poor frigates and successfully destroying them with my puny weapons because they didn’t have the ability to fire to their side(atleast the ones I fought didn’t seem to).

So you really don’t like scouad and low Tiers players matched against High Tiers.

You just add a “GODMODE BUTTON” for all T5 against Lower Tiers.

 

Did you remember the R13 Empire Implant before doing this? If you want to add something like this, just Fix the MM before !

 

Rework the pasiv bonus for Fighters/Frigates : It’s not because they are tankier that they must a crappy bonus compared to Interceptors.

 

Ho and you should take a look at the “Grizzly MK2” and the “Tor S”. Something clearly wrong between this 2 ships.

 

 

 

EDIT : AND WHY ALL MY T3 GUARD LOST SURVAVIBILITY !

I have no idea what you are talking because I started playing this game again at the end of August and for now I have only one T3 ship bought and I dont use it because of the very little credit earn… I’m not a crazy long time playing T5 player… Or you just picked the wrong thing to quote at.

Module and missile reloading now continues during the wait for the next launch into battle

This change is going to heavily cripple a team’s ability to fight out of a spawn camp situation.  And before someone jumps in with “don’t get spawn camped” it’s not always something you can prevent, and it only takes a 2-3 good pilots to pretty much totally lock down the opposing team’s spawn area.

I sometimes lose my nerves with them. Why ? All of the enemies change direction just before I shot or while the charge is travelling or my enemy just flies in circles all day long…

Well it may now require a bit more strategy in preparing your 3 or 4 ship lineup?   I know now with this change I will carry two LRF’s.   

 

This really will hurts if I deploy 2 mines…while being attacked…die   if I respawn in the same ship…well … I am going out there nekid as a new born baby…and my chances of of defending myself is greatly reduced.   So I am not going out there with the same ship… It will be another LRF fully loaded…

Maybe I am not understanding this right …  if you died… and you used up 4 of your 6 missiles… If you choose the same ship you don’t respawn with a full load … until the complete reload cycle has passed… whatever is for missile reload.

Is that a bug, or is it “working as intended” ?!

As i understand it correctly if you use 1 out of 6 missiles and then die, your whole clip goes into recharge (So if you pick the same ship you will have no missiles on it until recharge)

And it is intended
