Yeah I want a 600 m/s guards frigate !

So recon get 30% crit now, not sure if I should be interested or concerned… removing electronic guidance from low tiers was a dumb move. 

Adding vernier engines to lower tiers was a smart move, I have to disagree Neo on the basis that it allows pilots to modify their ship’s manoeuvrability to a point that they find most comfortable, for me this is when the pitch stat is close to 170 which in T3 I found was only possible in the newly updated kris S (168 pitch). I think they should add strafe modules to lower tiers too for this same reason.

Hypothetically it should lower the amount of people needing to relearn how their ship handles when they enter T4 and put new modules on because that’s a potential waste of their and their team mates time and something they could’ve learnt in the 1000-2000 games prior to entering T4.

Let me introduce “THE GUNGARDLONGRANGE Frigate”

i think the speeds are a bit to slow to and you sould buff the plasma gun abit to… one thing thats is bugging me is the “free aim” its kinda useless since the cam turns only when retickle is all the way out in the screen ege… you sould make it “look at target” so when u hold your set butten your cam will look at you selectet target with your own ship still in the center screen, its a commen feature in most fly/dogfights sims… they also have it in warthunder. would be awesome…

 

so:

a bit more speed.

more plasma damege.

look at target butten.

what is this kind of feedback where someone complains of too much speed - a certain percentage of people always want speed bumps, does not mean every street needs them.

 

nevertheless, great change about the self destruct (300 is a bit high tho) + recharge timers. 120 secs is nicer, keeping it counting is perfect. i like this change very much, and it’s also a thing many people wanted.

i personally enjoyed suicide ganking in T2 back then, but i find these measures still pretty fair.

I was expecting MM Changes.

Anyone noticed that now recons have 30% crit like CO and not 15 as they used to ?! Tooltip mistake or making recon the only Interceptor to play ?!

Intys used to fly at 700 M/s, and I was so used to that speed that when they made it so you never hit that cap, it really made the game less fun.

Eh, be happy with a 300M/s guard frigate like mine. (T3)

 

Can someone make a poll about the interceptor speeds? 

This part of the patch needs to be remove. Reloading of modules is already WAY to long and then you add this? I might as well not even have mods on my ship!!! You will get to use them 1 or 2 times a game only! REMOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I think 700m/s is far too high for interceptors, 500-550 max is more than enough for them to be able to avoid fire or do hit and run tactics. compared to a frigate or fighter, they’re smaller so, harder to hit. 

But don’t nerf their speed anymore. They’re fine as they are currently (maybe a slight buff but not more than 20m/s)

And why is 700 far too high ?

At that speed, only a few handfull of skilled gamers will be able to even hit them once before being killed. The game is not about reflexes.

 

plus, T1 to T3 is already full of inties.

Thats the point though - Interceptors are meant to be fast ships, hard to hit etc (With very low surviveability)

Currently I have full blue / purple T4 inty’s that can only do 450 m/s (With some fed frigates build doing almost 400m/s) - Thats just not right !!!

This kind of frigates are made of Paper. Have a superlarge Hitbox, Still have slower Polling/Pitching/Straffing/Acceleration speed.

An interceptor has a survivability roughly twice the one of a fighter, so it should be roughly twice as hard to hit. Currently it’s almost twice, (a bit more hard), with 600 speed, it would be 4-5 times harder.

But Inty’s are always made of paper regardless of build - Speed ‘was’ there main asset. Inty’s in T4 / T5 are too slow
