Star Conflict OBT v.0.9.8 Discussion

Lead indicator is virtually the same as War Thunder now - And thats the main reason I dont play that game, as the whole aim setup sucks.

 

The most important feedback we need the Dev’s to hear is … Listen to your players please, and not invent what appears to be stupid issue’s to then nerf anything that was half fun

What I have gathered from Fourm Posts alone

 

  1. Frigate balling is back

  2. Covert Ops and other interceptors got another set of ban hammers. (there goes literally 100% of my SC career)

  3. Squads are going multi tiers, which means a 4 man squad of T2 is Guaranteed to be in T3, and T3 to T4, contrary to lock tiers in which we wanted. 

  4. Tacklers got a HUGE boost in things, resulting in even LESS interceptors. 

  5. Speed has been nerfed across the board, (I think for the sole reason for people with low skill to aim better)

  6. Upgrade prices are through the roof. 

  7. Premium ships are STILL useless. 

 

And so much more…all points gathered from forum posts and comments. I was excited to come home now to play but now I dont care, I will get to the game when I get to it. #unimprested

 

Regardless of what you devs think is right, when you take away progression and the fun factor away, you will lose players. Simple fact is simple. 

 

Actually, antibus or any dev for that matter, I dare you to make a new account and grind up to T5, Please tell me how it goes from your own experience and see what we mean of what we post. 

 

 

Artifact cost is good. I mean i donnow why u guys was thinking from now u was able to fly all full purple ships). 

 

Nobody was thinking that, nobody even remotely said anything in this direction.

 

But in relation to what artifacts were before the patch, and now after (which actually makes me a bit smiling about people stockpiling them, to see they can now upgrade exactly one item…*), and the fact that you can basicly farm artifacts 4-5 times faster with GS will make it able to fly full purple ships for the right amount of GS. This does create a bit of a frustrating image.

 

I agree on the other points. However I would rather see a massive income boost in terms of credits, and a bit of price reduction in terms of loyality. (75k for one module in T3? How many wins does that actually mean in terms of contracts??)

Overall, it looks like a massive grind increase again, despite all the changes which were positive. I don’t even mind the people buying themselves gear, since they still gotta play and find the modules. But it does not feel very progressive with 3 DLCs, golden ships, running license and a positive win ratio, so what do you expect for an average free player, when can he finally join up into bigger ranks?

 

I would not fear if people have faster full purple gear now, either, so even if people were thinking all purple would have been good, well, bring it on. The gameplay should not be about the items, it should be about the game.

Hell yeah! Now i can use my old modules. One less restriction. Now give me back my weapon choice.

Wait, I thought this game was “pay to grind less” now it took a turn to P2W to any untrained eye.

 

Lets see, you can get about 2k loyalty per contract considering if you complete a contract which states you win a battle and another one. Thus you need to win about 37 games, which translates to about lets say 10 minutes games, 370 minutes, or 6 hours to gain ONE mk3 item.

Exactly, go read the changes to there modules. 

 

I suggest any developer should the play there game from a different account to see how much time they have to spend to get to end game.

ok found the deal with invisble ships :smiley: you can fix that in ur hud settings :smiley: and for some reason after this “hotfix” my dmg is “ALMOST” what it was… other then that only prob left is the upgrade from t2 to t3 mod/weapons there just to pricey :(

hehe … in T3  saw a whole group NASA folks ( an entire squad +1 ) in Guards yesterday…   seems they had a “jump start” …

T3 mk3 tackler debuffs have 2800 range (unmodified). TP and IB have 1s cooldown. 

 

I might have welcomed the patch because of this tackler change. But the increased grind is uncalled for. And I don’t understand the rationale behind the guard buff and the inty nerfs.

I think this is the end of my SC experience.

 

When i started with this game it was skilled, it was fast, it was funny.

 

I sow him going bad patch after patch… but i tollerated couse you know… in the end it was still playable. 

 

But now?

 

Movement inhibitions modules works from kilometers away?   Really?

 

How should i fly an interceptor? What should i do if i’m under speed reduction, afterburners lock and more everytime and everywhere?

 

And i don’t mind to fly any frigates or tanky fighter: i like fast and skilled thigs… slowness is boring as hell and not skilled at all.

 

 

Anyway… good job: u just killed interceptor for good (i don’t even understand why did u put them ingame if u hate skilled and fast things so much) … and you are just made world of tank in space… u was trying from some time… now u did.

I?m not sure frigs have benn buffed…and not that much anyway… I got a ghuard and the pulsar range (mkIII) went from 1600 to 1100…That is a big nerf, but i don’t care…theh mass inhibitor stops only thryster and afterburners in 2200 m (mk II)…I don’t remeber how much it was before anyway coz i never used it…and the signature masking (mkII) got 1700 radius with 17% damage reduction…I tihnk tis is really pretty the same…Maybe i’ll give it a try again…Missile shield i suppose is the only real buff…

Nope - The mass propulsion inhibitor and signature masking previously were around the 1200 m mark - Now the range on the purple MPI is greater than that of any of the Intys weapons range … So Inties vs Guard is pretty much a no go now as they can shoot you whilst you cant afterburn long before you get anywhere close to the range required for you to shoot him

Anyway, guards got some hard nerfs as well, the emergency shield booster now has a twice as long CD(T5 mk3 94 seconds) , and the metal injector has gained about 20 seconds CD reduction at T5 mk3. All EHP’s of my frigs dropped as well by ~5k.

 

While guard got an increased AoD(Area of Denial) they now also got a far weaker tank ability.

But the Inhibitor change is unwarranted I agree, the 1600m range was long enough.

Not only guards this time. 

 

Traklers!!!

 

Afterrburners inhibitor 1 sec cooldown and 4200 range. 

The new store HUD is annoying btw.

 

Some suggestions on it:

While having an item selected, make it possible to hover over your own fitted module to show the stats.

While having an item selected, make it possible to view the different stats between the modification levels by hovering over the different modification levels so you can see if the change is worth it.

 

Suggestion for Upgrade Kits:

Please increase the worth of them. 6k credits for a T4 module upgrade is a joke. It used to be ~20k debris price and ~50k item price before. This is ANOTHER nerf to credit income.

 

Ship tree:

I REALLY want you to consider removing ship fittings in T3/T4/T5. In T1/2 people will learn how to fit their ships, beyond that they can make the fits themselves. In T5 ship prices are very high due to it and we all got our own fits for that already anyway so please remove them in T3/T4/T5 so we can choose our own fittings and spend less credits on buying ships.

I think I’ll leave debunking your retardedness to others this time. It’s really obvious that guards got buffed in a massive fashion through AMS buff and massive slowdown of all ships as well as massive nerfs to all modules across board, which naturally favors guards as they are the lowest skill ceiling, least module dependent ships in the game.

 

 

But hey, even you know that it’s broken OP. I mean you’re posting your “I killed raid boss known as guard with 4 man squad today” moment to the front page of the forum!
