Star Conflict OBT v.0.9.8 Discussion

I would like to remind everyone that this is a HUGE, I mean, HUGE! patch. If we start complaining early on for anything wrong we see then it will get lost and not get hot fixed for Antibus or the GMs to see. So please keep it positive and constructive! Also, please play the patch for at least 48 hours. That should give us ample time to test everything. 

 

This is a great patch, after this, we really need to note everything about balance carefully so it can be fixed before they start work on the next big update which should be the corporations battles and such. 

 

My concerns about this at first glance…

 

SQUADS

I dunno about Squads, E.G will force a good T3 squad to a T4 primary battle. What I fear is a good mechanic in efforts to eliminate death squads, but to make them actually less effective because they are multi tiering battling. Even excellent squads can handle it but the mix tiering will make it so that squads are once again useless and not fun. Only T5s are not affected because basically they are already at the top.

 

FRIGATES

Why the hell would you make Frigates more OP, its gonna practically eliminate the tacticalness of any interceptor and fighter and reintroduce the frigate balls.

 

they didnt make guards op, they turned there god mode on them -.- taking a 4k nerf on shrapnel LMAO where the hell does that add to -14 percent (it took over a 40 percent nerf)   -.- i had no problem with this update till i got everyone of my weapons nerfed.  are they telling us to quit?

same on here, guess I bought license only to get three times nothing and some pathetic 1600 and 6000 credit loots.

also, money removed from contracts? :smiley: :smiley: :smiley: pathetic, now people without license will save weeks for t3 ships…

There is no pay to win in this game, nor do we pursue this course of actions. Please, be more attentive to the patch notes. 

Great patch, BUT sending modules to the warehouse requires credits. :facepalm: It is really nonsense! Maybe for some little fee. But definitively not for 300k credits it’s too much. It’s not reward then. It’s just possibility to buy it. I’m really disappointed about this.  :sad:

Good catch. So I’ll be even poorer from now on. This is how many patches in a row that slowed progression right down? At this rate I will never be able to move to T4 without spending big money. And since I’ll end up in 3on3 games vs fully kitted out T4/T5 ships there is no reason to even try.

This makes things like 110€ for Battlefield 4 + Premium seem like a bargain.

Starting packs now include ammunition and missiles

 

This not so much. You should remove all starting gear, not add more… Though with the new only-Mk1 its a little bit better.

 

As we have mentioned before, the amount of artifacts dropped in trophies has been increased.

Please make ships ALWAYS red, like before. The invisible ships are VERY annoying.
