Gathering statistics is usually not the problem, interpreting the data is.

  • do not fly me solo, have an engineer with a warp gate/battery

  • please don’t forget to equip Active resist buff modules for shield/hull

  • don’t forget about 100 resists from phase shield

There are Defensive Guards and there are Attacking Guards. They fit different in squads.

I am gonna disagree on this one, now Empire and Federation Recons are 2 completely different ships with pretty much different gameplay and player have to accommodate for this, we do not have a luxury of making w/e we want out of every ship, now you have to pick a ship for the role 1st and then build around it.

Empire recon can be build to be a tough nutcracker that does pinpoint strikes with huge meap coverage/ecm immune/burst dmg

and you just have described a federation recon

 

I haven’t flied recons at all, so 2 weeks before the patch I have chosen 1 of them and took me 10 days to unlock the T4 one. I have chosen that one over the other for specific reasons that match exactly my play style as recon. Now after the change the OTHER one fits my game play style, while this one does not. 

 

So I have to grind again and College is starting, so make that 10 days  20.

Fine, I will grind again, BUT some ships that have to be upgrade over the previous are actually a downgrade ? No implant can compensate for that …

Antibus - Please can you explain how the stats are collected and interpreted ? (I agree with everyone else’s comments that you should split the stats by tier if you do not already do this ?)

Also, we have quite good pilots too.

Currently anything above T3 is just no fun.

 

If its no fun - Why bother playing it ? (Partly the reason I have been playing T2 and T3 since the last patch !)

We are working on some ideas to make the higher tiers more interesting as well as we have some ideas that will help improve matchmaking in general, but it takes time.

congratulations on making many premiums/dlc ships inferior to free counterparts.

 

so how do you intend to solve this problem? you can’t buff the prems instead… you can’t streamline slots across classes…

 

yet some ships will inevitably be best in class:

 

A. some being free, reducing the value of many premium/DLC ships

 

B. some being prem/DLC resulting in P2W complaints.

 

so, any time you want to revert to the old system would be fine…

i have 2 medals for killing Devs and 3 for helping them 

Thats how I know I have never encopuntered them … as 0 medals for both !

Define “very detailed”. Because ever since 8.0, the xxxx-ups have just been immeasurable and you know it’s true.

Not a chance. If that were true, then T1/2/3 would be a balanced heaven. Yesterday, me, kipps & semtex proved it wrong. At least in T1… It is really not balanced at all.

There’re around half a dozen medals you can’t get anymore and they’re still there.

i have 3 medals for helping devs… or something… not sure… if… anyways… i started 0.9.0… my guess is they just joined for a few games after a patch and that was it ;o

 

anyways, playing the game means they can’t fix it… so it’s kind of… irrelevant…

So start with “fixing” the frigate iusse.

 

I can ensure you there is no fun at all in playing against semi-immortal ships carring torpedos and spamming pulsar… nor vs swarms of attack drones.

 

…but actually guards are worst.

I have no problem at all taking down T4/T5 guards so far. They often are quite easy in fact.

Again with this nosense? Who cares if you can or can t kill a guard in 1 on 1… the game is not 1 on one based.
