The problem that im seeing right now is as it follows:

 

Lets supose a guy is playing an engeneer. And this engeneer has its 2 automated drones around it, that shoot automatically anything around it. So, he is also healing, and when someone being healed kills someone he gets buff assistance, which is worth 20 points.

 

BUT if the drones scratch that same ship before it dies, he gets 1 point for dammage assist.

 

My point is, for assisting ships (buffs and heals) consider the highest first, if he did 1 dammage to someone, dont gift him with 1 point for dammage assist instead of the 20 for buff assist.

 

Also, i think the minimum dammage assist sould be fixed to some value, like, if you make 1% dammage you get nothing, but if you did 10% dammage you get the minimum (20 points or 30).

 

As for the kills, sometimes it is ridiculous, some random dudes keep spamming torpedoes everywhere killing nothing, but you go, dogfight the guy, and due to hard work you finish him, and you get 5 points… thats just flat ridiculous, there must be a minimum point fixed for finishing blow aswell, higher than dammage assist.

or at least not make a difference between dmg assist and buff/debuff assist and prioritise the potentially lower.

Great Idea to nerf all the interceptors… you know, the phenomen of “invincible” Interceptors was based on a players skill. There are Inties, able to get killed in less than 2 seconds and on the other hand, there are the ones, that don’t die the entire battle cz they know how to fly them. Debuffing them makes it much more easier for players with no absolutly skill (especially Guard Frigs) to get kills and lvl up just by pushing buttons. A job that can be done even with one hand.
Moreover you nerfed the repairing effects of healing frigs making it much easier for Frigballs to move on…

And yes, Frigballs are back, as they already were before this xxxx patch. Sad to see that this game turns into a “Klick/pushthebutton” game.

 

Would be nice just to give the Inties their speed back (and I mean actually Speed (m/s), not rotation). It’s much more fun to fly at 800m/s against an asteroid than getting downbuffed by your fanclub with likely no chance to escape…

The heal nerfs suck, and now there is far more lag for some reason. RFB is really good no though, i would even say it is perfect.

I wonder if that lag is related to all new created load on the server with efficiency calculations, befor it simply dumped the memory after 10 seconds of no dmg taken

The heal thing, i have nothing to complain about, the only diference now is that you cant facetank things as long as before. For inties, that was great, because they we too overconfident because one bad move and it didnt matter, their engie healed it in 3 sec, now they cant do anything by themselves, as any other ship in the game.

 

And saying that because of that frigballs will be back? I think that is ridiculous, nothing has changed for frigs, so they will still melt in a few bubbleshots, infrared purple lost 2% crit chance. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHH like if that was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO DAMNED IMPORTANT. GS with bubbles melt frigs all the same, and their tankiness hasnt dropped, they only need a little longer to be repaired, which means, no facetanking just cause engie is around.

 

And about the Valor > Styx… Well, valor i belive to be better, cause you can get very high resists on it when max speed, much faster, mobile, can acompany any strike squad, but comparing MM values (what i think you aimed at) Valor should be compared to the crapy anaconda, since theres no other engie of rank 8.

Oh? I need to try it. Cause that was my ORIGINAL weapon before the introduction of the shrapnel cannon. So saying that means I could make a huge come back.

It still needs at least 1 Electronic Guidance, but now the weapon is really worthy

let me comment on the changes:

 

I was thinking pvp and playerkilling is in the center of this game. In fact now its turned to …Do most damage …

 

This is not PvP this is Mario Brother. The kill is so damed important, right now if i have done a lot of damage to one, and this one runs away, i call the target and focus something else…

 

Someone might be stupid enough to kill it, but killing is not worth it…

 

And healing hmm …as an engee…try to blow your drones as fast a possible, if these drones scatch something u will not get the heal buff but the damage buff, and damage of drones is low…so expect 1-2 points for an enemy killed by one of u team u healed, but u drowns scratched the target…

 

I for myself decided to take a break, till this is fixed…until the kill is rewarded…i play another pvp game…

Well my Eagle-B with its RF Plasmas made thru a long season of underpowerment, now its mainstream, yay!

Sector conquest needs to be fixed, we got 120 points in 5 battles today?! And other corps (that shall not be named) got the same points in our squad, but they did nothing, we just did most of the work.

 

This system totally favors zerg corps now, it’s so easy: just get 150 people, make everyone spam SQ queue and hopefuly steal away a few points. It’s easy mode! And make the best players carry your games.

Antibus, you should really take another look into the SQ situation. Is this what you really wanted? Zerg corp spam? Sorry, but we are out, this is no fun. We are forced to play with these people on the same side every time, yet we did not choose it. They come to the side where the best corps are fighting for. Getting points in SQ should not be as easy as it is now, you just need mass of people and some dumb luck to get some beacon points even if you lose, and you have a sector and your logo on the map. 

 

Get rid of the factions and just do… corp vs corp games or something… SQ is just full of T5 pve rushers that know nothing about pvp. This is a place for pve farm and zerg corps, and not “for the most skilled” corporations as you advertised. The sectors prove no skill in competition, it’s just spam. Just look at the map, who has the sectors. This is not competitive and fun, it’s just who can spam the queue more. I’m out.
