PvE: control station durability now depends on mision difficulty

Today I tried PvE again for some T5 x2 synergy bonus and credits.  Round 2 of blackwood was boosted too much.  I won one out of five matches.  I could tell in most of the matches the players knew what they were doing.  If I lost half I might say “ok” but when I have to be grouped with three solely T3 players when I have a T5 command and some other T4 ships loaded it tells me it was made imbalanced.  Either PvE is no longer supposed to be suitable for grinding, and blackwood was the only one with reasonable queue times, or it was overly bufed in difficulty.

Any thing that suppose to be farmed, most of the time consider a optimized build for farming, command is not optimized for farming blackwood, just to farm assist without doing much, of course still better than inties  :)

Really trying to be helpful here, but why don’t you start squadding up with more competent people by joining a competent corp? Most of your issues you are describing on the forums about pvp and pve are because you are not grouping up and trying to solo it. 

 

It looks totally masochistic, why not just join with some T5 players and faceroll that mission with a full T5 squad in 5 minutes?

The first battle I did today was in SecCon. I won the battle. 

After the battle my double Synergy Bonus (for first battle) was gone. 

Thats quite annoying since you get no synergy in SecCon. 

Please fix. 

After today’s matchmaking, I fail to see any improvements whatsoever. As far as I can tell, nothing has been changed… or if anything has, it was for the worse.

The part 2 of blackwood shipyard has surely become more dificult. I was on a pug with 2 dudes with T5 ships and another with T3 (i was T3 too) I went with gunship, the other with engeneer, T5’s were the top inquisitor and a command ship. The navstations took forever to blow up and by the end of the round only the guard was alive, and with less than half hull.

 

I mean, they made that to force everyone to go with bubblegun gunship so the nav stations die before everyone else?

You can try killing mobs first instead of rushing. I had no problems trying that. Unfortunately most people are used to rush.

We have encountered this issue before. This ism however a false-positive reaction. Our game does not distribute nor contain any viruses.

Dude, the best antivirus a man can have is a good, smart brain. I’ve been using my computer for about 5-6 years without anti-virus, and i had to format due to performance issues about 7-8 times in that time, and only because i wanted to get rid of trash that was slowing it down in the computer after installing and unistalling many things.

Try to tell that to the gigantic amount of low IQ that queues all the time. Also, mostly don’t have good fittings for PVE, since if you are rushing to the end of that tier to start farming gear you usually level the ship with the crappy gear it starts when you buy it.

Command might not by “ideal”, but it’s still fitted as best as I can afford for PvE and except the rounds where everyone else dies I do alright in it.  My biggest complaint in PvE is guards stealing all the kills.  Because of the ship tree it’s my highest ranked ship and I try to use my 2x synergy to grind it for credits and R15 implant.  My R1-R9 implants aren’t ideal for PvE but I don’t want to spend a few hundred thousand credits a day for PvE grinding.  With 500 players online, PvE queues plus matches are shorter than PvP queues.

In one of the attempts that failed, it was me, residente, Turbo from Nova, and a fourth guy.  I had three or four of the matches with him.  With Turbo, you do not need an engineer or guard for round one because him in a tackler is insane.  In round two we all died.  In most of the matches we only destroyed one station.  Later I tried queuing for hidden maintenance shop but I gave up after 15 minutes of waiting.

 

Before I might lose about 10% of the PvE matches, but I understand that by going solo.  All I’m saying is that this change was overkill.

T5 PvE queues are about the only T5 queues since they’re mixed with T3 when there’s a lower population.  I saw one uber T5 guard take over 70 of the kills in round 1.  Load up just a T4 ship and you’ll notice T5 players.

Commands certainly can have major effects in pvp given the right modules and a skilled pilot.

The extra synergy bonus depletes if the first win of the day is Sector Conquest, where you actually gain no synergy… Come on…

The daily purple loot depletes if the first win of the day on pve you dont choose it because you want to save it for other mission like pirates… :smiley:
