For what its worth, the Sector Conquest queuing times seems alot shorter, if thats just cause people are trying it out, hence alot of queuing, or it actually kinda works is still to be seen I guess…

Eeeew. They should really refund this. 

I know that very well. I did a random test out of curiosity in several pub matches with a Shrapnel fit Ricasso and apparently the Crus S dies twice as fast to it than the Styx, whereas shield is stronger vs kinetic and hull weaker. I’m literally almost completely ignoring the pulsar and just shooting the Crus down while the Styx’s drones (well, not really about the drones, but sometimes) and tank are more problematic. I know the T4-5 guards have incredible tanking abilities and seem OP, but T1-2-3 suffer. There was also that patch where they had 30 pts removed overall in their shield resistances.

 

PS: they basically feel like utility ships because of their mods instead of ‘tanks’

It’s also weird when out of a frigball the guard is the first focused just because everyone knows it dies faster instead of the engies.

 

Thats totaly true. Guards are tottaly broken in t1-t3, they dont resist dammage, they dont do much dammage, and even pulsar is like tickles to most ppl. It takes longer for me to die on a xxxx Hydra 2 than on a full blue Crus S.

I still see old settings for the r15 implants. nothing changed

 

They screwed up so much? Refund the colors!

I will paint again, just let us fix it… I spent over 10k GS on paints, I better not be dissapointed when I log in.

Same situation here…couple of ships look horrible now…i’d like the GS back too…

 

My spartacus and eagle-M really sucks now…

The Federation Rank 15 implant DOESN’T gives 10%, it gives only 5% to hull and shield. That’s a BIG NERF.

I did SQ earlier and the wait was under 3 mins (3 battles played). 

The matches were nice and not the usual roflstomp. 

Lets see what the evening brings, but so far, good job.

Otherwise, nice patch! I never painted my ship, so i cant tell about that, but the matchmaking is cool to have tweaked and most of the implants i agree with. But. I already made a hard, HARD decision to not chose the 10pt hull / lockins, as i usually fly my Jericho Command, and its tanked for shield. Now you buff it even more? Wut, i just… wut?

It’s not a question of Phase shield…

 

T1 Guard = No shield/hull mod / Only MPI / Only Cruise missile / Only Beam Cannon (do you feel the pain that new Frigate player have? rework this weapon)

T2 Guard = 2 shield mods max, no hull mod / MPI PULSAR AMS / Only Cruise missile / All Frigs weapons

 

Actually, Hull tanky is more OP than Shield tanking, so :

 

Yes they don’t resist until you’re flying a Fed’s Guard correctly fitted and don’t try to do some risky move like Inty and Fighter can do.

 

 

Edit : T1/T2 Premium guards are just insane compared to the normal one

Yep, 3 matches, 8v8 all of them, around 5 to 10 minutes waiting except the first one that needed only 3 mins.

4-mans squad, ~5 minutes wait and usually 8v8

Looks good so far

Would kill for 12v12 or 16v16 matches, but meh, 8v8 is fine, at least we didn’t get bot-fights (well, some players were worst than bots, lol)

Need to get t5, fast. Any suggestions to ship type to go for?
