On paper the core concept appears sound, but I feel that the actual implication needs improving; the ship progress feels a lot emptier now, and it feels like players are being pidgeon-holed far more than before; “oh, you’re an Empire pilot? Hope you like Gunships, Sniper-Frigates and Recon Interceptors because that is all you will ever fly!”
I normally dont mind patches that try and mix things up, but this is going too far.
all of the ships i have bought were for a reason, if i wanted a specific ship with specific roles and bonuses i would get the one that i wanted, for example: the Dverger knight which i built to have 70% crit chance with the 50% crit damage implant.
I feel obliged to play devil’s advocate on your first point here; I bought a Dverger Knight because I wanted to fly an Interceptor, and as far as I’m concerned the Warden’s white and red colour scheme looks awesome and so I always buy their ships and ignore the dull-as-hell “default” and “default-2” range whenever possible.
Not everyone makes purchases with the help of a dps calculator.
i love the new update i played as frigate to use my armor and shield to help hold line or go to allies aid even in some cases lead a attack i used fighters for hit and run tatics to so when i looked ate the hp buffs for frigates i have and hp and sheild debufss for fighters i was like wow now being a frigate mean something and fighters cant jest charge you but all the fighters are faster now witch mean i can eazily be circled i love this whole move the only thang i think might be a over sigght is ship moddles seei was smart i moved all my moddles to the ware house and bought all my missing links in my ships chains also saved little money befor the patch when my ships were moved i lost nothing beside some of my teir 3 ships but i gained new ones so a not so bad loss i think that snipers and missler’s were cheap tatics to begin with so i am glad to see them debuffed lets face it the change for the better on game play wise though plzz fix these dc error enless its the sever being over loaded then every one who dosnt like the new patches get off this is waay better and its also beta testing where changes happon dont tink you leaveing will mean mutch to them it wont their is some one out thier better then you allready playing the people who lost money srry but its in the agreement when you pay to see some of the items you pay for be discontenued thats what happons if you did it to support the game like me then you would have not cared becuase the game is moveing forward thats what i payed for over all i cant wait for the matches to come.
So i had ONE game with the “new” anakonda m , wow . Its still equipped for speed , and still i had the feeling of fliying a xxxx murder tank with the raid shield. Was a lot of fun xD
Guys, try to play the patch for a few hours before you start to complain.
We have 150 ships in game, why should each ship be able to do the same things? Where would be the difference?
I think many did not notice, but the loyalty got fixed and you should be able to rank up your subfactions better now.
Ship diversity and specific ship roles is fine, but every single ship needs a chance of standing against another. This is a shooter game after all. If it takes 4 ships of 1 class to take down another or 1 ship takes down 4 of another who cares about diversity. Balance the game on 1v1 bases then move on to team play and diversity.
Any way the forum was full of complains about the ships specials and to be honest i like very much the way they mixed specials on ships so you can choose the ones you like more
But i would llike to go for gunship fighter instead of tackler and i’m stuck on tackler coz now i got all to buy the ships in the skill tree form the very first one.I’m t4…billions of credit needed…so please give us chance to sell old ships for a short time in order to buy the new ones. True, but for those of us who enjoyed playing with support and engineering modules on our Jericho ships… Yeah, we lost about every active module.
