Weapons and modules: Missiles
* Missile batteries “Firestorm” and “Octopus” have been moved to the appropriate pylons (medium and large, respectively).

Achievements: General
Players who participated in the alpha testing and closed beta testing received a special achievement.

Interface: General
* The list of achievements of other players can be called via the context menu (right-click on a player’s name in the friends list, or corporation).

Bug fixes
* Fixed a bug with the crop of the background on battlegrounds.
* Fixed counting kills and assists in the “Control”.
* Fixed bugs with some missiles.
* A number of other changes to fix queue crashes.

General changes
* Added a new “Achievements” window.

 

Game mode: Combat reconnaissance

* Now, when the enemy captain is killed, all the enemy ships become visible on the radar.
* Instead of higher damage resistance, the captain’s ship now has increased main weapon damage.

Weapons and modules: Lasers
* Heavy Laser: Optimum range has been reduced by 10%, damage has been reduced by 10%, the rate of barrel rotation has been reduced.
* Long-range laser: Damage increased by 10%.

Weapons and modules: Railguns
* Assault Railgun: Reduced the value and growth rate of spread.
* Long Range Railgun: Reduced the value and growth rate of spread.
* Heavy Railgun: The optimum range has been reduced by 10%.

Weapons and modules: Plasma cannons
* Rapid-fire plasma: Reduced the value and growth rate of spread.
* Heavy plasma: Increased projectile speed by 5%.
* Rapid-fire plasma: Damage increased by 7.5%.

* Medium rockets: Added missile batteries “Firestorm”.
* Large rockets: Added missile batteries “Octopus”.

Weapons and modules: Active Modules
* “Collision compensator” - reduced the bonus to maneuverability.

Interface: General
* The Escape-menu has a new item to provide quick access to technical support.
* Added a new status of “Queued”, reflecting that a friend or a member of the corporation got into the battle queue.

Sound and Music: General
* Improved sounds in the hangar.
* New sounds for the missile batteries.

Bug fixes
* Installation of implants is now correctly reflected in the vehicle parameters in the interface.
* Fixed bugs that in different cases led to inappropriate behavior of the game cursor.
* Fixed bugs associated with automatic replenishment of ammunition.
* Fixed bugs that allowed leaving the combat zone.
* Removed incorrect modules and weapons used by the bots.

Ooooh at last we can forget about those runners that escape when captain is killed and they have more wins. I like that. Althought its a bad thing to those like me that play with a cloack empire ship. Now if the cap is killed they become useless.

glad to see the weapon balancing is taking place, although 1 small step at a time isnt the way to do it imho…

im not active at all but il try and provide usefull feedback

the problem however remains that frigates will be camping and sniping at long distances since the heavy weapons with the slow barrels are worth scrap in cqc…there must be another way than nerfing the damage and range…

Ok, first report is for the beacon event, when I get killed I no longer see the “After-death” effect of the opposing ship flying around for a few seconds, instead it goes directly to the countdown menu. This seems to have an effect on ship repair and also kill counter, you do not get a ship repair bill and you have no kills against your name. Secondly, this happened once, the UI dissapeared and I was flying “blind”, once I was killed it returned to normal.

The camera and the assist/kill count is already known.

Did you press alt+z by accident?

Not that I can recall, it only happened once and since a game restart it has not happened since.

“Octopus” missels are medium.

“Firestorm” missels are small.

The describtion of the collision compensator is still on 25% maneuverability.

i wonder why not both buff? pretty much now just change those ceptors/fighter captain to frigate snipers/missiles now…

Yes, its in domination game mode. see above.On the other side i dont have any repair costs in this game mode so maybe its quite cool this way.

Update # 1 has been patched.

i had leftover gold from events and i tried the new missiles in training mode

its just way WAY too powerfull,doing 5k per salvo is just over the top and considering its GS only youre making it pay2win

the idea is nice, the implementation isnt.

pay2win is a slippery slope, il advise caution…

never noticed that, guess i need to play more but w/e

although for now IT IS, you can only purchase it via GS(yes, for now.) and it does almost 4 times the damage normal missiles do.

hence why my concern is completely valid

 

edit:

a ninja nerf patch? firestorm is now on the medium rack while octopus is on the large

that actualy makes things alot better \o

Error would you mind if you collect the solved posts / threads in the entire SC forum and collect them in an archive?

→ people may see easier which topics are solved and discuss the ones which are still “hot”

 

i know it is a lot of work but it would increase the usability
