too keep it from being too long to read, lets just say that from the visual apperance in hangar (specialy empire one) and certain changes and ā€œtweaksā€ā€¦it can be assumes that SC devs got a new boss… gajins CEOs son… (daddy make you into a boss, yeah) …

no hard feeling towards devs, they are doing their job to the best they can. SC is a great game (could be better…honestly) and i must say its the only game i play. i dont (*didnt! until recently) have a reason to play anything else. i do understand the devs that it must be hard to be under pressure by the players while on the other side obeying the bosses orders… its quite obvious they were orderd to make this game more grindy, to slow down progress and to give the option to boost it with a little cash invested… in short COMPANY WANTS MORE MONEY!

I think the whole outcry could have been smaller, if it would have been clearer from the start, that the alien thing is an event and seemingly only temporary, inclusively the decorative changes, sounds and alien invasion in PvP; an ability to turning event or hangar sounds and effects down would be a nice idea tho, was already like that for the Xmas theme (a couple hours of the soundloop is just a different experience, than hearing it the first time…).

Why T5 and T4 has been mixed, but only T5 got Mk5 blueprints, taking those techs even further apart, is beyond me. I really thought, the dev team aims to balance Rank11+ to an endgame; an idea which I actually support - but in this light, the blueprints make little sense.

i really don’t see a problem in advertising an alpha-/beta-game, as long as everyone can see that it’s an unfinished game.

i also don’t see a problem with integrating micro-transactions, license-stuff and so on into a beta (maybe even alpha) to fund the game, as long as everyone knows that everything can be subject to change and that everyone will keep the stuff they bought (ships, items, xp, money (through license))

The devs have stated they wouldn’t advertise until a 1.0 release.Ā  It’s self imposed.Ā  We’re just bringing back the dreadnought issue to troll the devs. :slight_smile:

yeah, i know that they just don’t want to do it, but i don’t understand why. many of the problems right now (including the reason for their xxxx-up with the pve) is because of a way too small playerbase. advertising means more player, means (a few) less ā€œproblemsā€, means more money (hopefully)

pretty much this. It’s doable, but the odds are really stacked against the t4 Pilots, especially the new ones. I don’t like odds being stacked heavily against me, and i would suppose, most people don’t like that either.

yeah, modules that are not obtainable anymore should be deleted completely from the game.

and t4 pvp is one of the problems i meant:

t4 and t5 together in pvp can be fixed with more players (t4 and t5 separated)

groups with 3 players count the same as groups with 4 players to keep waiting times shorter but cause an advantage for one side can be fixed with more players (3-man-groups will be matched against 3-man-groups, 4-man against 4-man)

long waiting times in pve, which was the reason for this xxxx system they have now can be fixed with more players

more options for the matchmaker and a working server-selection also have to come. right now you can choose a server, what doesn’t work (people who choose europe still come everywhere but not europe). that has to be fixed, also i’d like to have ā€œwhitelistā€ for server. europe (20ms) and russia (60ms) work fine for me, us (170ms atm) and asia (370ms) just suck, playing on them is a pain.

There’s lot of modules that should be removed from some tiers.

Like light hull/shield in t3.

It is not a problem really. If you are in a white, synergy 1 rank 10 ship, then you should try to stick to your corp mates and support them.

You can’t carry a game with a white Garm or Lance. But you can get a lot of assists and help your team.

Just adapt. Merging Tier 4 and tier 5 is the best thing that happened in ages in this game. Now you can find games in high tiers.

PS: Also, fully synergized orange R15 are hardly encountered in Tier 4 games, because tier 5 players with more than 1.300 DSR have separated queue. And if you find some, then they are average players.

I have full white t4 ships, but I am over 1.300 DSR. T4 + t5 is good for shorter queue, but it’s not really fair for r10 ships to face r14/15, over 1300 DSR or not.

Difference between r11 and r15 and implants. T5 implants are a huge change.

And, even if i’m not sure about it, mods and stats of t5 ships are a bit above t4 (More damage on guns, …) like with commands and their special mod (11dmg/energy for t4 and 13/energy for t5).

When I play that tier, most of the time I get small fights with 6-8 players and half of them have fully synergised t5 with some mk4 mods (Maybe it’s different for those under 1300DSR ?).

So, has you said, I prefer grind ships with my t3 premiums. Until I’ll have a full mk2 line-up for that tier, I’ll stay in t3 and use my t4/5 ships for invasion. I have my aura and my GPU card fitted, now need Naga/Mino and Jarl.Ā

Yeah, I suppose they put another mark at 250 k, 500 k and 1M. I don’t think we will arrive at the second mark though… Those are a lot of biomorphs, and not that many people have access to invasion.
