Built-in corporation applications, sweet.
PS: Can somebody expand on what this might mean. Nevermind, I got it.
Added colour codes for modules installed into slots
likeing the invasion mode alot. still it would be nice with some form of loot to the one that gets the kill, when i fly big and slow ships and finaly get a alien, a intezeptor comes swooping in and loots all and is gone…and then i think i sould just do the same… wich is bad in the long run… and please make a dam LOOK at target key, so that you have your looked target in view and then you have get your ship lined up. almost the same as orcules just cheeper xD
and some new ship skins could be nice, same ship new skin, let us chose ouer exhaust couler.
all in all this invasion mode got me playing again and finaly brings MMO to this game xD
Corporations
Added a tooltip for corporation roster extension button[/space]
You can now send applications to corporations
Any independent pilot can send an application to any corporation
A pilot already in a corporation can’t send applications
You can revoke your application at any moment
You can only send one application to a corporation
You can send unlimited applications to different corporations
Applications have no expiry dates
if you are accepted to a corporation, all the other applications are terminated
CEO and corporations officers can decide on applicants
Basic application procedure
1. Open corporation window
2. Choose a corporation
Corporation list is sorted by their lifespan
Only the corporations with open recruitment are displayed
You can filter by jurisdiction
3. Click ‘Send application’
You can write to corporation CEO before sending the application
Alternative procedure
Find a corporation in corporate leaderboards
Press the RMB
Choose ‘Send application’
If the corporation is not recruiting members, a message will be displayed
If you already sent an application to this corporation, you will see an option to revoke your application instead
Added the option to control corporation recruitment
Added a new option ‘Recruitment Open’ into the corp tab
The option is enabled by default
If you disable it, the corporation is removed from the general available corporation list
The ability to recruit pilots with individual invites remains
Been waiting a very, very long time to see this added. Really nice work!
- Add Icons on players for different karma. Pirate icon on -ve karma pilots & family guard icon on +ve karma pilots. Then it would be easy to know if someone coming to attack from behind. on HUD it’ll display orange color arrow including pirate icon or family guard icon.
- A pilot with +ve karma should not get -ve karma points if it kills a pilot with -ve karma & must level difference will be 3. But he’ll get criminal flag if do so. It not always good to wait for incoming attacks and you dead.
- Single RMB on your cargo slot to eject a trophy or drag n drop. No more 2-clicks.
- Give player to choose whether he wants to use a duplicator to restore ship or spawn on station. No auto restore.
- Add new Icon for station, not same icon as other jump gates.
Please remove the new sound added when pilot come in range of pirates or alien. so much irritating. once the sound start it keep play even in hanger until you relog.
And most of maps are now system protected.
Improved pilot distribution across servers
What does this mean? Does this fix the problem people had with Squads and Wings being put into different servers? Also noticed Processing Rig(PvE mission) has a “10-15” now listed in addition of just “4-6”. Was this an addition to just the tooltip or did they add that as well?

This means that you have more chances to be matched on your regional server, if you pick ‘Any’ option in server choice.

So there is still the problem with groups getting into different servers in invasion? I would have thought this would be a priority…

and why reduce time on combat recon? its like one of the best game modes, i agreed with emp detonation but not combat recon .
and in this sector conquest i just got lost connection (i had fine internet but it dc me) and vent back to hangar, right away it asked me to go back in battle and nothing happend, i had just as fine internet, i shutdown game and back up, then it asked me to go back in game again and i did, exacly when i got back my ship automatically self destruckted?
waow what did you guys add on this patch?? it randomly kicked me and made me rejoin and then my ship self destruckted? you guys always exclude something from patch notes. so now if you get disconnected and rejoins ur ship will self destruckt. mkay now we know that
and when you start game it comes up, NEW MAP FOR INVASION, and then it says here its for pvp and sector conquest. uh lol click on special top right corner,

Why the “safe path” out of each faction’s space into Frontier? It makes no sense having Station Protection in a rank 10 zone, and you are reducing the places where PVP is possible… Will Invasion just become a massive PVE fest? I mean I don’t mind farming a little bit, but I would rather PVP out there.
If you read the forums, it’s obvious that there is a decent chunk of players who don’t want Invasion to be PvP focused. I’ve gone into PvP sectors and killed people only to have them message me and ask me not to attack them again.
A lot of this is to do with psychology, and the setup of the mode. Consider: in PvP the focus is entirely on attacking the other team. There is no exploration, no resource gathering, no NPC involvement. Moreover, win or lose your reward is largely unchanged. The winning side gets more loot, and dying can incur repair costs, but participation guarantees reward.
Now look at Invasion. There are NPCs to fight similar to PvE mode; the world is open with no fixed objective, encouraging exploration; there are no fixed rewards, so if you die before you can recover your loot you get nothing.
All of these features push people away from PvP within Invasion. Despite what the loud minority claim, most players don’t like to lose stuff. Case in point, the Roguelike genre didn’t really take off until they made it more accessible, and added permanent progress. To draw players in, they had to have elements that carried over between games.
The same is true here. When death is a huge penalty and makes you lose all your progress, player interest falls through the floor. Players put up with bots more readily than PvP in this situation because Bots are controlled by AI, and so are predictable. Players are not.
As for those who just got access to the mode, we would like them to remember that ‘ Invasion ’ is in _ early access mode _, we are now preparing various improvements ( such as expanded opportunities for crafting, balance changes, new maps, assignments, and so on ) and its final version will be much more complete and rich!

Maybe they should create some PVP assignments then: “kill one person in … zone”
Also an ingame Bounty mechanism (not just on the forum) would encourage PVP.
Finally they should include Sec Con in Open world: fight between corps for control over a sector and it’s resources.
I think this is where the devs want to arrive eventually, all modes linked, but atm it seems like they are going in the wrong direction by encouraging more farming.

Hopefully with games being shorter, getting matchers is also quicker due to faster game turnover getting players back into queues.
Well I waited half an hour for T4 Processing Rig and got no games.
Is the absence of Cargo drone in the new sector normal or not?
