Patchs are released when they are Ready.

You mean the ping numbers come in more than one color? I thought they only came in red ;)wt
The best corp “ping” is TeamSpeak. You can see in the game chat window who pinged. So if it is someone not from your corp/squad just ignore it 
Since we had the discussion about supernova plasma guns earlier, I just tried them for myself. They’re super boring to use but indeed quite effective. Had little trouble engaging interceptors with it on an unbonused ship, you reliably hit up to about 3k, after that not so much. Certainly a very strong weapon. I’d say you make up for the lower dps compared to rfb by engaging from twice the range already so you hit them for longer. Noticed the lower dps/damage type when engaging engineering frigates though, hard to break their tank.
I constantly kept forgetting to keep my adaptives up though, you just pling away at the targets from range until that wub wub wub of your gun is putting you to sleep. With shrapnel or RFB you’re constantly maneuvering already out of necessity to hit.
