Uh, GMs are complete juggernauts, people should fear us! Or at least move out the way when I need a sweet roll.

so using our deduction skills, will the new sandbox world be a series of very large maps all next to each other? if it is not an open world

Just enjoy the stomping while it lasts.

Well there is an achievement for using a _ Jump gate _ so I presume they kinda are.

You want the perfect solution against those Death squad?

An instanced world (Not sure if I said it right).

I mean : We’ll gonna have a sandbox. Witch mean that we will pass from one map to another one. You still don’t understand what I mean?

Remember, for the moment we have a matchmaking. Witch include that t5 flies with t5 and same with others.

Dev aren’t idiots, they won’t do only one world with everybody in. T1 will fly only with t1 even in an open world.

But why squads won’t play t1? Answer is : why would they do? For farming some of the new contents that may need to collect some resources? The t1’s world will have only a few ressources, and higher tiers will have a bigger amount of ressources.

Seems fair no?

BTW Antibus, new reworked debris map is much-much-much better, a little to “flat /2d” though

No more campfests there  :Dwop   Now we can   :bomber: on this map.

Wing =/= group-squadron.

Wings were introduced some patches ago, and could only be created by corp officers.

But whatever, you are just hatting for the sake of hatting.

I believe it is spelled “hating”. The last time I shaped beaver pelts into attractive top hats was… well, never. But if it makes you feel better, I will concede the point that wings and squads were and are different.

how about you play the game before you comment your nonsense here?

and open world =/= sandbox

Oh, I did play the game before posting. Seems to be about the same level of ‘meh’ as before. A few new maps, ships, and weapons, but still super grindy. Oh, and now I have to pay IGC to recover purple upgrade kits… that was nice. Reminds me of that one loot update that we don’t speak about anymore…

Did anyone really believe the “Loyalty Voucher” update would actually make it easier to upgrade weapons? I mean, really believe it? Because that was what we were told. And surprisingly, it made it harder and more troublesome. The only thing it did make easier was for elite corps to mass purchase purple weapons with artifacts.

So when I say a crafting system will make things even more of a grind-fest, don’t immediately dismiss it as rubbish. Especially when it could easily become yet another micro-transaction sinkhole.

As far as sandbox=/=open world, the meat of it was that Gaijin was fairly adamant that there would be no free-roaming element to their game. Something about instance-based matches being their bread and butter and sticking to that mechanic.

But hey, if they want to introduce another half-baked game mode, who am I to stop them?

  • Progression from T1 to T5 is extremely short, it is only problem for US population because they can not have T4 PvP so they reserve for PvE, and then you can level your ships in Sec Con extremely fast, amount of synergy there is through the roof. But this is something that people have to bear with until game is released.

  • Obtaining credits as easy as ever

  • Amount of sales for ship t1-t5 is of the charts, all the way up to 50% off

  • Amounts of synergy gained on almost every weekend is ridiculous, and fleet strength kicks in very-very noticeable, best advise for every one, spend couple hours in T1 maxing all ships, you will save huge amount of time for higher level ships

  • You DON’T have to pay gold for purple lootz, it is OPTIONAL

  • I get 50-60k Loyalty for a faction within a hour and if I have time to play more i can either farm another 50-60 k for another faction or i could keep gaining same faction but at slower rates.

There is almost no grind in the game, it has been gone long time ago, and yet people keep clinging to that false believe of “grind” and how “grindy” this game is, nonsense.

If you don’t have a license, and you don’t want to spend a penny here, obviously you will have to spend more time, but free to play people are not in a position to complain, and even with no money investments you still progress quite fast, considering all these sales.

So yes, w/e you are saying there is full on nonsense, it is about time you crawl out of your cave and try to look at the game for what it is now, and not how it use to be long time ago. But looking at how you always qq about everything, almost at OldSpice`s level, I doubt you have an ability to do so, but feel free to prove me wrong.

P.S. i made an alt account, full free to play, no money injections, within 100 games i had pretty much all T1 ships maxed out, and multiple T2 ships.

JasanQ and Evis both made very good points. For what it is worth I think you are both right in your own way.

Like it or not, most games would have and require elements like grind, credit sinks, stuff like that. SC’s not the best, but it’s pretty good the way it is now.

This was the intention, yes.

Flaming removed. SoldiersFortune, please, follow the rules of our forums. This is a warning.

I mainly have always wanted the chance to just look around the game’s universe… not be shot down the moment I go into an open area.   :)wt
