The power of good hardware. In another game, a friend of mine was accused of hacking because his uber headphones allowed him to hear enemies sneaking up to him from behind.

My headphones are 7.1 surround sound and I turn off all in game voices and music.
I need only the sound effects.
Also, with my uber setup, I can SEE ships all the way across the map even with out the help of a HUD.

I can actually use only 2 if need be.
The only thing that hogs me down with that much displays are the VRAM. The more RAM the more resolution and FPS you can push.
