Yes. This happened to me long time ago when first premium ammos (or first resonating ammos, I don’t know now) came out. What I had to do is turning off not only the ammo refill but ship repair as well.

It seems like the ammo warning doesn’t show except for a first time? It should show each time you change from normal ammo to premium ammo ;p

Yes, this is a big problem for players like me, that can’t remember to always turn off auto-buy for ammo, just wasted 200 gs today, i think there should be two auto-buy modes one for normal ammo and other for premium, that’s easy to do and very helpful for players (except in case that this is intended to scam some gs, sorry but i’m a bit salty right now, losing 200 gs is bit too much for me that just started playing a few months ago)

I have to agree with that suggestion. I waited almost two hours today to get a single T3 PvP game. I had a nice talk with OmegaFighter in that time (yes, he waited for such a long time as well), but I think that idea of “fast action packed game” is not “talk on TeamSpeak for hours or read a book”.

I started today at 9 AM. It’s 6:30 PM, and I am stuck at win 3 pvp battles (1/3). Don’t you guys think that 9 hours and 30 minutes is enough to complete such a simple task? Where are those games?!

What tiers/ranks have you tried? using DDs or not? Ive had PVP games during early NA time by waiting less than 3 minutes average (russian server of course), always queueing with my destroyer at T3. Once i got into a game while queueing at the same time with mecron (for same tier), i got in a game and he didnt…maybe due to the new skill MM split queue? I got similar stats than mecron, altough i began to play PVP again after alien research missions came out, reason why i might have “uncomplete” PVP stats (for the new MM system), but that doesnt favors me regarding to winning/losing. Actually, i played with a friend’s account a few days ago (he has worse stats than me) and i got 6 defeats, 1 draw, 2 victories (most games had no destroyers so dont blame them)…

Ok, let’s look at what’s going on with this event. First, as per usual, when it started lots of people were taking out their destroyers, making getting the kill four destroyers one easy enough, and typically taking only one, or two rounds, with rounds starting pretty much instantly when you sign up (tier III PvP, all regions). Now, I can be sitting around waiting for minutes before a round starts, and it’s not uncommon for only one, or none of the people on the other side to be flying their destroyer, so it can take many rounds to get your four kills now.

 

Now let’s look at what you get for flying your destroyer, and using that ammo, which is the absolute worst one to use against players. You get a chest that contains a random number of live crystals, and some other item, which if you’re real lucky, can be a completed unit of ammo. Having done this four times the first time was my best, and gave me five live crystals, with one completed unit of ammo, although, since then I’ve gotten two, twice, one, once, and none of those three had completed ammo. If my results are the norm (what have you guys been getting?), most of the time you will, so long as you can complete the kills using a destroyer task in one round, get a net benefit of one, or zero additional live crystals. Considering how few destroyers I’m seeing lately, I’d say my results are typical, and people just don’t feel it’s worth doing. With people not wanting to do the kills with a destroyer one, it makes sense how much of a pain getting the four kills of destroyers has become, and this is the weekend yet, come Monday, I expect things to get worse.

 

This means the whole event so far looks like it has already flopped, and I just don’t really feel like bothering with this aggravation anymore, which seems to be the case for many others as well. Again, why are we using this expensive ammo on players, when it’s the absolute worst one to use on them, and why bother making us fly/kill destroyers, when not everyone has them, and many don’t like them? Why not send us to open space to get a mess of alien kills for at least this stage of the event since it involves anti-alien ammo anyhow? If this part will be representative of what’s to come, this could wind up being the worst event the game has ever had, with the general player reaction to it being “I don’t want to bother.”

 

 

 

 

 

 

Everything is nice and dandy. However I started getting reports that people had auto refill turned off and they were still charged 200GS. It didn’t happen to me personally and I advised those two persons to create a bug report.

Wouldn’t surprise me. A while back there was a stretch where manual repair, and refill didn’t work, you had to activate auto repair, and refill, or log out, and back in to manually do either.

Even if it’s bad for the event. No destroyers in the enemy team is good :slight_smile: btw i have been seeing too less destroyers in PVP.

R8s (trying to get the module for phoenix). I finally got my games, but for crying out loud - I once left queue on, forgot about it and when I came back it was one hour and 37 minutes on the clock. Then in the late evening I got 5 more games and to be honest - I’m horrified. No one was doing objectives. Beacon hunt - two teams in the middle shooting each other. Domination - same. Team battle - same! (ok the last one was wrong example). I think I will make a suggestion to remove all game modes except team battle for R1-R9. So basically I have two choices - for 40 days wait in endless queues to get extra spec module for a ship I start to despise (it’s very weak in comparison to styx for example) or just screw this and try to enjoy the game in normal tier (5).

  1. You dont know how many live cristals you will need to craft upcomming content. Although you already know you can craft 1 resonating ammo with 1 crystal.

  2. Seems you arent bringing a destroyer in your loadout, reason why you see so little destroyers (i queue with a T3 destroyer, find games rather quickly with at least 1 destroyer on the other side. Ive also queued without a destroyer, it gets hard to see 1 in the enemy side).

  3. The missions are completely voluntary.

  4. You should get as average 2 live crystals per day (1 from killing destroyers, 2 or 1 and 1 ammo from containers), if you manage to complete the container mission in 1 game (so far ive only spent 1 ammo per day to complete it).

  5. People was unhappy cause they were seing too many destroyers in game (“and they are OP”), so using the worst ammo mitigates their effectiveness.

Hey Cinnamon, won’t the PT server be used again? I installed that thing and never got to test anything.

It’s not actually the worst ammo. 7% damage boost without downsides is better than purple standard ammo, iirc.

I am starting to hate this new mm… 

 

Why am i always losing but ALWAYS (8 of 10 games) while having 9 or 10+ kills in a team battle or while had 2k + eff pts while still has 6+ kills in a beacon capture or domination 

 

Why my team dont have any idea about not dying and also why enemy team always has 2 kill farmers ( 1 an elite bubble  and another a lucky lrf ) while my teammates has 1 or less kill ( i still have 8+ kills) 

 

and dont even talk about my skills or my builds i am not crying here i am trying help to make the game more balanced…

 

when i was playing t3 with a hyena and gauss mostly i didnt had that much kills but still my games were better (more wins) but in t5 i can get tons of kills while still losing because of unbalanced mm …

 

btw can u pls tell me how does this MM works?

 

yesterday Stormsystem was playing t5 pvp and he lost 7 times in a row then i joined him he was always enemy of me never be an allie and i am starting to lose 6 or 7 games repedetly (mostly because my team is soo unskilled against such a team not talking about storm himself only but his team ) and u can be sure i was had decent kills and eff points but still we were most likely spwn camped and then zombeh144 came (when stormsystem left) and magicaly my luck returned and i am starting to win games over and over against zombeh (because literally i was farming his team he had my old team) so this is like a some sort of pro gamers curse or something they were bound to have terrible teammates…

 

You cannot balance a game with giving best players worst teammates 

 

Do i need to make a bug report or something  ?

Sometimes you get incredible loosing streaks, and the most stupid teammates ever, and sometimes you get good players and you wreck the other team.
