PS : Since the DLC don’t give the new special module can we call it “pay to grind” ? :smiley:

Doesn’t matter if DLC or Premium, you can’t change content you pay for.

This is easy said a contract-issue. If the content you deliver was changed you can withdraw from the contract. But it’s depending sometimes on the law of the country, but the safest method is: To do nothing. This is the reason why content isn’t changed(or just updated if engine/some basics in a game changed). But they can add things, that are additions(like modules, weapons and munition).

To the patch:

While it’s nice to have now the possibility to craft these alien munitions, it suck that you either need contracts to have the resources or to buy - again with GS - a container. Hopefully at the end or so a BP for these living crystals will be given out to craft them(WITH ALREADY AVAILABLY RESOURCES).

Big negative point: The contracts aren’t doable in vsAI. Make groupplay with teammates impossible.

Okey, so the dlc will stay the same, I don’t really care and it’s cool for those who don’t have it yet. But then don’t you fear that the number of people who buy dlc will drop ?

Since the event is a series of daily missions, if I miss some of them, does that influence the final reward, or not ? Because I don’t really want to spend my computing chips on a daily quest only for some ammo, but I don’t want to loose some part of the reward either.

 

And that %age we can see in the hangar, does it depend on the number of missions done, or it just increase by 7% everyday ?

It seems like the ammo warning doesn’t show except for a first time? It should show each time you change from normal ammo to premium ammo ;p

Players already owning Phoenix or Reaper still get components.

I would prefer if you focus on bug fixing than on useless missions with the only purpose of making players spending GS.

Just one tip: play rank 9, t3 destroyers are much easier to kill.

 

But, also, I think the matchmaker is just broken. Or maybe he secretly hates me.

 

I’ve had a 5 loss streak. And no, I’m not bad at the game, so no “git gud”. I was every time on top of the leaderboard. But, when you find 3 players in domination that play LRF and sit all day in the spawn, and you then find the same 3 player in the next battle on your team again, there’s nothing you can do…

Matches are completely one-sided. You either annihilate the enemy team, or they crush you.

 

Also, without Capture the Beacon, there’s much less variety. I think you should reintroduce it and force players to have at least 3 ships in +r11 matches. If you don’t own at least 3 of them, you don’t belong to that tier.

agree i’ve got the same problem here, and the other trouble i get is keep falling versus strong veteran player, i know that the pilot rating is the thing but i just can’t play versus a desu,storm,cccp,nasa… team member i don’t have the skill they got! :confused: since the new matchmaker system i feel completly useless in battle

Ok, so here we have ammo primarily meant to kill aliens, but instead of the event having us use it against, oh, I don’t know, ALIENS, we use it against players, when even the most generic, and cheapest type of ammo provides a greater benefit than this ammo does against players, meaning, it feels like a complete waste to use this ammo on players. Wouldn’t it make the most sense to have us go out into open space to kill aliens, with, and without this ammo, so we can see its value? Plus, even though the ammo can be used on any class of ship, for the event we can only use it on destroyers, using the specific weapon of the day. Wow, I’m honestly surprised you guys didn’t give in and tack on the max synergy ship requirement you love so much to that as well.

 

As an added bit of nonsense, the rare component to make the ammo, rather than buy it with GS, is either purchased with GS in a random box, because of course it is, or gained in assignment rewards according to the item description. Although the only assignments that at least currently award them, are event related, meaning so far, they still come off as a GS/premium ammo type, rather than one people can craft through just playing the game, which also means they are primarily something you pay for to gain a distinct advantage, which is not good. Then as others said, if you had auto replenish ammo active, it’ll just automatically drain your GS to buy more when you run out of the ones you crafted, glad I always have that turned off, but that comes off as a sleazy move on your part, as you had to know people would run into that. Why not put the crafting component as a reward where they’d make the most sense, open space, where the aliens primarily are, and make the crafted ammo under a different name, with the same stats, to avoid the auto refill issue?

You get rewards each day according to what you finish each day, the end of the stage means everyone gets a certain reward or access to new content (no matter if they’ve done all or 0 missions). the stage % should increase accordingly to the players participation, but since we dont know it could be a fixed/manipulated value, nothing we should care anyway.

MM has always played dirty on me, getting more than 5 lose streaks in a row often (PVP has always been a W/L ratio sink for me), one of the reasons why i stopped playing PVP for months (and now im back solely to finish the event missions). This patch MM has been close to 50-50% win-loss ratio, i guess its fine, things appear to me to be just like before: me getting highest scores whether i win or lose.

I agree what you say with giving a use to resonating ammo against aliens. On the other side I got 10 live cristal containers and i havent bought them with GS (nor resonating ammo through GS); i like the fact that these missions offer great rewards without need of spending GS nor doing insane tasks, the way it happened with destroyers (i was able to build the T3 and T4 version pretty quickly without using GS at all). About the GS cost for refilling ammo…if people would simply PAY attention, like, “hey im gonna do a specific mission that requires premium ammo for 1 or 2 games, maybe i should turn auto refill off, cause premium ammo requires GS to be refilled…” this kind of things wouldnt happen.

as soon as the lasers pop up I eat a frame rate drop (tbh, my FPS was tanking the whole way. ) I got all the way down to 30fps when I typically run 100-120 (I capped my rig at 120)

Now before someone decides to tell me it’s time to upgrade like last time (I’m planning on upgrading for NMS anyway), I run everything else perfectly fine with little to no issues. Just because one mission is screwy doesn’t mean I should upgrade. Means I should avoid it, deal with it, and/or the devs should look into optimizing it.

 

Event: yup, not crafting more than the thermal ammo and not doing anything involving that destroyer. I haven’t checked it since the MM update, but before getting into a match was 3x longer with a destroyer.

 

also @ devs in regards to the event: what is defined as participating to receive the rewards?

 

Last thing: can you please do something for Open Space? At this rate, OS will be more useless than Co-op mode.

I have to agree with that suggestion. I waited almost two hours today to get a single T3 PvP game. I had a nice talk with OmegaFighter in that time (yes, he waited for such a long time as well), but I think that idea of “fast action packed game” is not “talk on TeamSpeak for hours or read a book”.

it is unbalanced those pilots on destroyers are not so skilled but they did huge difference for they team and managed to won a few games because we didnt had enough dps or time for them.

 

This wasnt happening b4 last patch i find this unbalanced should i make a bug report for this?

when playing in t5 you will most of the time see only 1 destroyer in pvp it can be in your team or on the other side :slight_smile:

Ok, in two days by that point you got 10 live crystals, good for you. Although this is an EVENT , and there is no evidence I’m aware of that getting these things outside of an event, or from the cash shop will even happen. Aside from that, the chests can from what I remember provide live crystals in 1, 2, 5, or 10 unit quantities, and may also toss in a completed unit of ammo. Now if you’re really lucky, you’ll get 10 live crystals, and a completed unit of ammo, but from my experience, it’s more likely to get just one, or two units, and no completed ammo. As is typical in games, the amount of something we’d get in the intro event would be greater than it is afterwards, so even if there is some daily task to get them, don’t expect to get that many at all, meaning you could run out rather quickly depending on how you play, unless you open your wallet.

 

As for the auto refill thing. If someone were to get used to using it, it wouldn’t really occur to them at first that you could get into that bit of trouble. I also think auto repair, and ammo refill are on by default, so it’s completely understandable that a person when presented with free premium ammo could get into trouble with it draining their GS before they notice it. They used to give away premium ammo/missiles in level up rewards, and the same thing happened to people then as well. I have absolutely no doubt that you as well have in some form in your life as a whole just got used to doing something, in a certain way, but even when you knew consciously that something changed, and you need to do it differently, you still ended up doing it the way you’re used to doing it as an automatic reflex for a while, this is kinda like that.

What about open space? It’s perfect for the people that don’t want to mess around waiting for others to show up, and deal with missions where their success depends on everyone else, more than their own merits. Then since right now we’re using anti-alien ammo, the most logical thing would be to use it against aliens, which are mostly in open space. Of course what they may be about to introduce is special anti-player premium/cash shop ammo, perhaps ones suited to be used against specific classes of ships. If that happens, I’m quitting.

Small request to all pilots participating in the Broker event  - if you are going to use resonating ammo - please make a screenshot of your GS status before the mission and after and be sure to turn auto refill off. If you will see anything off - log a bug immediately.

Yes. This happened to me long time ago when first premium ammos (or first resonating ammos, I don’t know now) came out. What I had to do is turning off not only the ammo refill but ship repair as well.
