because it’s not the role off the suppressor maybe ? you’re one off the only 5 who play without CPU on your Sibyl and you want to dictate a way ? let me laugh, the role of a suppressor are to can hit a lot of type of target for sustained his team, if he can’t hit he become useless, so stop please, it’s a kinding mess

I don’t have a sibyl on live server, i have a brave, with 3x CPU on it.

 

Suppressor is a word, ship capabilities is a fact. you want to have sustain hit on wide range of targets - use Mezons, they are precisely made for this. Halo is anti Destroyer and frigate weapon, you wanna rip things apart, be so kind get up close and personal.

Anyway, about the patch:

 

Good things:

 

  • New premium ships available to all the players for free (well, for a lot of grind, actually)

  • A very needed gravi-lens nerf

  • I like destroyers in PvE

-Death spin nerf

  • Guaranteed container drops

 

Bad things:

 

  • The grind for the Premium Ships is a little bit too much. I think that the Brokk and Stingray requirements should be lowered by 100 pieces. I heard that there is a cap on pieces. I’m going to do tests

  • I also heard that the death zone on interceptors are too big, I’m gonna do some testing about it too. 

  • The halo nerf was excessive I just realized you buffed a lot the cloud damage. It’s ok now. 

  • You didn’t put back the ore requirements (even if right now I don’t care at all about building a destroyer)

 

Something that should be done in the next patch:

 

 

  • OS revamp

  • Remove completely credit drops form end-match search. Replace them with ores/monocrystal/premium ship parts

Just leave a camping matress in the hangar, maybe a toothbrush and a some wet wipes.

And take the pets with you, they have a tendency to get lost in patchnotes.

Probably you are that type of pilot who mains destroyers because it’s the only ships he can be good with, and cries every time they nerf them… 

Was there a large change unmentioned in the 1.3.5 patch ?

 

It appears I cannot fire weapons on interceptors from behind or on the sides anymore.  I tested this with RF, Plasma, Pulse and srap weapons.  All have the same effect (excluding the pulse it still fires).

Really nice hull design. Could be great to see R13+ stealth ships in the next update (I’m a fan of solo open space).

Me too, when it’s dry, you can reconstruct the imput material with a fingertip sensation.

Unfortunatly xxxx is rather adhesive these days.

My last comment on the destro thing…If it is “frontline” it has to be able to move like a F-22…not an aircraft carrier. Now if this is a plot to destroy Aces who will try to warp into the front, no problem the plasma arcs will welcome them. About the only PvP I do these days is destro hunting in T3 so works for me.

And by the way…I don’t hate change. I like change. I like new ships added. I dont even mind that we have more parts/currency now than Europe did before the Euro. I just like it to be positive without things like 80 day grinds for ships in ranks we dont care about.

Bring on the T5s Give us some Destro free PvP modes we want changes…just positive ones

I don’t play destroyers at all, but a nude Halo from the shop deals roughly 3200 damage per shot with all 8 turrets. If you add the bonus from explosive damage, it’s 6400 per shot. Add the 2100 cloud damage, and it’s 8500 (NUDE) against a destroyer. You can then add about 20% bonus damage from 3x pulse dischargers and you get something like 10k damage per shot at 60 shots per minute. I think its balanced.

I can’t wait to see takamina’s videos now. I started using it alot against destroyers.  However, last night i did notice a big diffrence when I dog fought a more maneuverable ship as they can be behind me and I cannot shoot at them.  This could be the death of close range interceptor strafe builds vs high rotation interceptors.

Gravy Lens has been nerfed in this patch, it is pretty nice now for both sides (receiving and delivering ends)

Dude, you dont know much about the game, do you

Coil and Mezons are “REGULAR” dmg type (not talking about resistance correlation type of dmg)

Halo gun is “EXPLOSIVE” type of dmg

 

Regular type of dmg has MAXIMUM and OPTIMAL range, what you see in stats is MAXIMUM, which is about 30% of OPTIMAL range, aka next to no dmg, count in spread and projectile speed, and you see a nice number that means nothing.

Explosive dmg has MAXIMUM RANGE = OPTIMAL range, so if you ever learned math you can workout that Halo Mesons and Coils deal maximum dmg at about same range
