Special Operation - Destroyer - Pyro Emitter thermal damage not dealt to certain objects!

Bug report: (Special Operation - Destroyer - rank 13-15 (Tier V))

 

What happened?

Pyro Emitter on a destroyer does not deal any thermal damage on the exposed “Core/s”.

Pyro Emitter on a destroyer does not deal any thermal damage on the “Shell/s”.

 

What should happen?

Pyro Emitter should deal thermal damage in both cases.

  • Core (exposed core)

  • Shell (protected core)

Pyro doesn’t affect many things. Most notably things that you really would like them to damage. XD

I don’t get why they shouldn’t damage either the core or the shells because of the balance… The damage is minor compared to photon emitter spam…

They forgot to program it. It will be fixed.

Structures are programmed differently from ships, apparently. It is also why transport ships can’t be moved around with the alien bubble weapon for destroyers, or the special weapon/module for the reaper. Or so they say.

they should rework the transports - their path should be set directly, but if an object stands in its way or the transport gets pulled / pushed by any module, the transport should return by the shortest path to its original set path.

This game should have a better code to start with!

Using The Hammer Engine that probably can’t be improved or updated anymore just holds the game back.

Can this be fixed?

It’s an important module that should deal thermal damage on shells and cores to start with!

People are firing at shells or cores, not knowing that they are not dealing any thermal damage with Pyro Emitter. This bug should get fixed ASAP!

This bug is affecting gameplay elements, especially in higher tiers.
