Keep the color codes, but add an additional mechanic for visible items (not including the invisible containers)
Add in the ability for the scanner to pick up the name of most items within the scanning range, and have it show up
on your hud.
Additionally, put in a description of how to use the scanner effectively, a guide of sorts.
When I had first bought the scanner, I hadn’t the slightest clue how to use it.
If it’s going to cost more than most ships, please tell us how to use it before we buy it.
