I think a Tormentor frigate could block the goal on its own. That thing is a giant flying pancake!
What about Archelon? That thing looks like it could cover the entire goal, then we can have Stingrays with the Deimos engine to warp around the map with the ball right into the goals, it would be so much better than that fair gamemode we have now.
I also want to know that what logic the game follows and how it decides which player gets the ball in a 1vs1 lassoing situation with clear line for both.

I think the pull on both directions bugs out the physics engine and forces it to resolve the issue by breaking one of them. Might just be random.
As you can see it bouncing around and spinning rapidly.
