Some contract descriptions are very confusing. Help needed!

I have recenty decided to re-check the whole contract tree and I have found a lot of inconsistencies, but they only reveal themselves, if you pay attention to details.

In short, I had problems with the descriptions, since I was unsure, if they meet the requirements or goals.

 

Most common issues I had:

 

Examples:

 

Disable a beacon isn’t the same as capture a beacon.

Explanation:

In order to disable a beacon you must play an appropriate PvE scenario.

PvP scenario to fulfil this contract is different then as well.

You must allow enemy to take control of a beacon first and then move there to disable it.

 

You get a contract “Destroy 20 enemy ships.”

Explanation:

The next similar contract have the same objective, but it is unclear if it is the same or different, since it says that you need to “Destroy 20 enemy ships of hostile enemy faction.”

 

 

There are much more issues and I may need help to determine if the contract is actually meeting requirements in the description.

 

 

My plan is to simplify the contracts (English only) and to make them more understandable, especially for beginners.

Empire contract tree is completely reworked and 100% done.

I will write all additional conflicts here.

I will need multiple people to test them.

I will focus only on Federation contracts for now.

The biggest issue I have with contracts is, that most of them are missing a contract background story!

This must be fixed as well!

 

Examples:

 

Empire: Legion section has 0 story backgrounds on all contracts.            NONE

             Wardens section has only 1 example of such story background - Radiance of the Order (rank 10 Wardens).

 

Federation: Armada section has 0 story backgrounds on all contracts.    NONE

                   Vanguard section has 0 story backgrounds on all contracts. NONE

 

Jericho: Raid section has 0 story backgrounds on all contracts.

             Techs has only 2 story backgrounds on all contracts: A Common Goal contract (rank 1 Techs)

Who deleted story backgrounds and why?

It seems that I have to do everything by myself.

Problem is, I rather have no story, than a bad story.

Well, I agree. They should remove those remaining stories and I wouldn’t bother with adding the missing ones.

However, proper description of contract goals is essential.
