Soldier of Fortune DLC Extra Loot Attempt Bonus not working.

So I need to make a NEW one because the old one never got fixed…yay. :confused:

                   Only receiving 3 loot attempts after battle even though I have Soldier of Fortune DLC and I should be getting 4 attempts.

2. What did you expected to happen.

                   To receive 4 loot attempts as the DLC is supposed to give an extra attempt.

  1. The conditions during the situation.

                   Loot screen after battle, I can loot 3 spaces and then it tells me looting ended.

4. Further details on the issue.

                   Has happened for months despite it being “a server issue will be fixed in next update”, 2 months ago.

5. Frequency of occurrence.

                   Every single battle  where looting occurs (some partial PvE stages will still give me 1 less than I should receive).

                   Produce it by using my account and having a battle where looting occurs - victories in PvP mainly.

  1. If possible, the time when it happend. In this case we will be able to look more closely to the server logs. Also mention your time zone.

                   Any time I play, shouldn’t be hard to find. 4pm to 6pm Australian +10 time if you need one. → 3:43am Australian GMT +10.

If there was a crash, the mentioned files are located in the Exceptions folder. Create and archive containing the files from the corresponding folder and attach it to your report.

Gather the files in one archive. For us it would be more convenient if the archive was with *.zip extension.

Sorry which files are missing? I only followed the instructions you linked in the last thread since the one at top of “Levelling” subforum is apparently out of date…

Perhaps it would be helpful if you could list the files which are missing since apparently I am not seeing something. Imo the treatment of this issue is not very good right now with an “I couldn’t care less” vibe due to an aggrevated customer. You guys don’t accept a link to just a picture as a bug report so a little explanation would go a long way to help us help you…

Updated log files attached after having to have another player tell me which file was missing.


Not acceptable customer service to provide:


• Out of date bug report guide,

• Tell me I “did it wrong”,

• No explanation of what I did wrong so that I may rectify it

• Excessive length of time for action to be taken.


Sorry about the rant but if you want all this info you need to also provide us with info. If I should make a ticket instead, tell me. If I am missing a file , tell me WHICH ONE. Like I said before, you wouldn’t accept “Plasma arc not working FIX IT NOW” with no explanation as a bug report so why would you give “You did it wrong” with no explanation as a reply to my attempt to provide all info?

Is this bug actually now? If yes, please, attach new logs and screenshots.

We can’t repeat it.

I will make a video. It definitely was only giving 3 standard attempts after a victory when before it was giving 4.

Quick suggestion - exit and restart steam, sometimes it has trouble communicating DLC bonuses with the game.

This may help.

  1. Do you use Steam or launcher?

  2. Where did you buy the DLC?

I use Steam. I bought it on the Russian Gaijin site. It didn’t show up at first but I sent a ticket and got the accounts linked/the DLC now worked on my Steam account. After an update the DLC no longer worked on my Steam account. It still works on the non Steam account.

If you bought DLC on the Gaijin site then you should join to game from the launcher with gaijin account. Before them, make sure that your steam and gaijin account is linked.

Also, any questions you can ask to support.

Rennie reported the original bug, it was fixed, and the latest patch broke it again by somehow screwing up the link to Steam.

Honestly, this is concerning because there is no proof that other DLC bonuses are functioning as promised. This is the only DLC bonus that has solid proof, and it is clearly not working. Yet, the only thing that has been done so far is a huge game of pass-the-blame.

How do those of us who are supposed to be getting 10% more credit gain or other bonuses supposed to feel confident that our purchases are still working, when you don’t seem to be taking a very obvious bug seriously?

The patch. Rennie’s original Gaijin profile was linked to Steam along with his DLC purchase (The Solider of Fortune DLC). Then you patched Star Conflict to version 1.1.5


Patch 1.1.5 broke his game. His Steam profile no longer gives him the 4 loot attempts from the Soldier of Fortune DLC.

Except this issue has been happening for a longer time than 1.1.5. It has been so long I forgot which version broke it, but the update that was SUPPOSED to fix it didn’t actually fix it…


try to login to the game with your gaijin account from the launcher (may be launcher version download needed)

It works when I use the game.exe


Well for now it seems to have fixed the problem as it works in the Steam version (desktop shortcut).

I am talk again: If you bought DLC on the Gaijin site then you should join to game from the launcher with gaijin account.

If your Gaijin and Steam accounts linked, then you can use your DLC. Call to support for more information.
