Nah. I just did maths.

We got 100 free xeno for birthday. + 30 xeno per week (special ops) + 30 xeno per week (squad kill) + 4 xeno per 6 hours + 1 xeno per 2 hours

Which means that in one month of doing the weekly missions + once the 4 xeno + 4 times the 1 xeno mission, you get 513 xeno.

  • the 100 initial xeno, you’re at 613.

Which is enough to get a r15 thar ga.

Add another month, or do 2 times the 4 xeno missions + 8 times the 1 xeno per day, and you’ll have one special module + the r13 strafe/rotation slot + kinetic/EM weapon passive + the 33% weapon heating. Since the total of them costs something like 100+250+160+210

So 2 months and you have the “super op thar ga build” that everybody currently use.

And that’s without considering the previous xeno crystal event, or the fact that you can get MUCH more xeno then just doing the mission once.

It’s just you said it’s not “P2W” then you post how it would take a month of none stop grinding to get it, on a thread about the ship being on sale for GS and all.

Hence why I thought you were being sarcastic saying it wasn’t P2W XD

Did you expect to get it in a day?

No, In fact I’ll get it in about a month time, with the gage missions (I have no destroyers), it’s just that when calculations require playing a game 24 hours a day, for a month I suspect “some” amount of sarcasm…

so 15 000 gs the 100 xenos bundle …

its a joke …no ![:(](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/003j.png “:(”)

a bit confused by the last patch , and a bit afraid by the way taking by Devs

a premium R15 ship cost only 12 000 gs.

i’m fine with the fact , xenos is a very rare ressources but if we need above 500-600 xenos to reach R15 tha’gar , that make this ship at above 50 000 gs …Oo

Devs , no make change on grinding and Tha’gar still “OP”

now its clear , Devs wants money , money …its not about balance just adding contents to incent players on the cash shop .

a bit sad to see the game still moving on this way

If playing 2 hours a day casually without doing anything special beside killing people’s in PvP is “Non stop grinding”

Then your life must be fun.

I was referring to this part of your post: " Even without license and playing 24h a day, you can get one r15 in a month or so. "

Pretty sure that’s not the same as “playing 2 hours a day casually”

WAIT WAIT WAIT A MINUTE THE COST FOR FIGHTER PARTS HAS GONE UP DRASTICALLY. THE COMPOSITE PANELS ARE NOW 5x MORE EXPENSIVE AND THE STRUCTURE COST DOUBLED. WHAT THE FOX?!?!

Did you even read the word “without”?

The sentence can be interpreted as both "without a license but playing 24h a day, you can get one r15 in a month or so " or “without a license and without playing 24h, you can get one r15 in a month or so”.

I assumed the 1st reading and sarcasm.

It’s the “and” that threw me off, had you used “or” and I would of gotten it on the 1st read, then again English is my 3rd language so maybe it’s very clear to other reader.

Anyway I wasn’t looking to start a thing here, you can stop trying to make assumptions about my life and what not…

No problem. I’m not English either, let’s forget this.

Anyway, Thar Ga is definitely something any players can reach. Far easier then any premium ship or destroyer.

So it’s definitely not P2W IMO.

I read it the same way as you; “Without a license, a month of playing 24 hours a day will get you a R15”.

Also, I’m looking forward to Alien Destroyers. Only 1,000,000 GS and it can be yours!.

I agree it’s not P2W, not really, since as I have said I’ll be getting one in a month or so without any GS involved.

It is however a monetizing tool and quite OP, which if I refer back to my original post scares me for the future of alien ships.

Then again maybe we’ll look back at the Thar’Ga in the future as “that one alien ship that was OP for a while” and the new ones will be balanced, or maybe just over powered when facing a particular ship class, like very powerful “niche” ships.

Still more scared of the alien frigs than of any thar’ga in this game…

You’re speaking of Milf screenshot?

Nah. Look carefully. That’s the price for crafting 5 cabin.  ![:001:](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/001.png “:001:”)

*faints*

Though it does seem like something the devs would do just to screw us over even more.

I just hate tasks that give out less than 10 xenos and the tasks doing above 10 of something time consuming. Everything else is okay to me so far.

I’m a wild orca not a seaworld orca lol.

When the Elly destroyers come out, I will uninstall the game

The only real counter I’ve found is that people are trading survivability for speed and damage which makes them very weak in the face of the same kind of weapons you would use to chunk interceptors.  It’s the teleport and the heals and the snares that make them overly strong despite being fragile. It’s like a gunship that also does tackler stuff and can short range mwd. It does too much. I’m offended that it’s called a gunship when it’s clearly a jack of all trades.

Also, I will let you in on two secrets regarding close range gunships.

The first, is if you sense a dive coming, running can make them waste their overdrive. Intelligent play can bait them into using them. and always plan to use terrain if you have no other options.

The second, is that when they’re point blanking you if they have bubbles it’s probably too late but if you see a chance to rush them and get behind them you  can evade some big hits, then, if you’re skilled enough, you can do it a second time as they try to adjust and get a new orbit. By now hopefully you have some terrain you can use but continue to use this tactic if it’s effective. Being cheeky like this can keep you alive for a long time. Strafe in this regard is also potent. Most players are used to using their speed advantage and those with cruise rely on turn speed, but when you use short and direct strafe movements especially in tandem with geographical features you can push them into an undesired situation where they either die, or escape and from here depending on personality, will either stubbornly attack you again or just leave you alone in favor of any number of feeders on your team.

That’s what I said. The name “gunship” really just is a placeholder, as it means nothing aside from an extra missile type and combat reboot. Otherwise, all Ellydium ships are and will be the “does basically everything” ships.
