Skewed economy

Synergy and voucher gain is far too low to allow players to progress in open space alone. On the other hand credits and artifacts are so over-abundant that you might as well remove them as currencies from the game.

Make this more balanced to allow players to “live” in open space should they wish to.

The voucher issue could be solved if they introduced PvE/Invasion contracts. I’m actually surprised destroying ships, NPC or otherwise, doesn’t give the player synergy or at least tallied for synergy when you player docks. It feels like they’re there just to get in the way of whatever you’re doing.

I disagree about the credit flow being too abundant, and I do not see any problems with artifacts either, albeit they could be harder to find. As long as you have to bring that stuff to a secure place, it’s a fair income in a way. Of course for most of us it’s easy, but what I heard from F2P players who are still in their first half year in this game (but having dlcs to give them access to invasion), they rather play PvE for credits, because it’s less time consuming and more stable, but also gives synergy. Just to underline, credits might not be the problem at all.

 

So I agree on synergy and loyalty. Atm. you get sometimes 200 loyalty for a killshot as loot. Some for contracts. And generally, this game suffers from the loyalty grind; it creates a gap between players in terms of modules. It’s certainly easier to get Mk3 to Mk4, than Mk2 to Mk3.

 

Another lateral idea that was spun in the forums a long while ago comes into mind, what if fully synergized ships would use Mk2 modules with Mk3 values. So you could keep the loyalty grind (you still want them to become mk4 one day), but remove the largest part of the module gap.

Gentlemen It took me 3 months to get 4000 artifacts in PvP, but in open space it takes me 3 weeks you find containers that have 150 artifacts in them not rarely but sometimes, i also agree on synergy gain is far to low

3 weeks?  I made 800 artifacts in 90 minutes of farming.   Then again higher pop hours probably have more competition for looting hunters and the like.
