since the last bigger patch approx 2 days ago I experience connection loss during gameplay
extremely often. It starts with that I can not control my ship anymore. The ship is making funny moves around its own axis and doing funny movements. Sometimes control is coming back after about 1-2 minuts but thats rare. And even then the ship reacts kind of laggy for some time.
My PC System and Internet connection didnt change over the last days. I pretty much assumes, that there are load or other race conditions happening between client and server since the last patch.
Its extremely annoying as this happens now in every game and stage of a game which I play.
I hope that you guys are aware of this problem and are working on it.
Hi, I identified the Problem. The 6 year old PC (AMD X2 4200) and the nVidia (GT 8600) Graphic Card have a performance problem which can be solved by choosing the lowest quality settings in the Game and in the nVidia control panel.
This I did already last week, but those settings have been reset to default settings after installing the latest nVidia Graphics driver. The default Grafic settings put already too much load onto this old system.
The update of the nVidia driver happened shortly before the game got his update, so I thought something is wrong with the game. But this is actually not the case.
The very good logfiles of the game helped me a lot to understand that there is something wrong in regards to the system load. It took a while but then I discovered the root cause.
I hope this helps other guys with “ancient” (vacation) hardware to get rid of problems.

You are saying this problem is due to graphics issue and you have solved it by turning down visual settings ?
