side missions or errands - they should give high amount of karma points for completion

Side missions or errands , should all feature + karma bonus points , upon completing each one, which is marked with the blue exclamation mark on the Invasion map.

 

Rank   1 side mission gives you   100 karma points.

Rank   4 side mission gives you   400 karma points.

Rank   7 side mission gives you   700 karma points.

Rank 10 side mission gives you 1000 karma points.

Credits and synergy rewards are not worth collecting, compared to PVP and PVE mode.

If you do this, at least karma will have a higher meaning, even though we still don’t know what does it do.

I don’t know about such high rewards, but side missions ought to give some amount of positive karma. Given that the highest positive karma reward I’ve ever even heard of is +5, and the highest I’ve ever gotten myself was +3, whereas killing police or a transport ship gives you easily double that amount in negative karma, there should be an easier way to get positive karma. If you cut the rewards to a tenth of what you have in your OP, then I’d say that’s rather reasonable.

Maximum reward given is either +10 to +12.

Minimum penalty bonus is - 50 and max is -200 or -300.

that would mean whenever I want to make some money, my negative karma would drop. I don’t like this. If there would be a way of earning both karma points at the same time depending on player’s base karma

 

Example: you have got -50 karma points and the mission is pirate-like themed and you get negative karma. Also the quest difficulty would depend on player’s karma, not on maximum Rank. Or if you have got +50 karma pts the missions are like they are now, + you earn positive karma.

 

Also I don’t know why but I think that the reset banner somehow doesn’t fit the star conflict scenery, more likely once you get to -3 karma level you should build up to karma +3 on your own.
