It looks quite nice, and it’s my first premium ship, however i’m a bit concerned about it’s performance stability considering the recent nerfs to LRFs and what nerfs might come later.
In your opinion, is it a good decision to get the mauler or not?
Well it honestly depends on how able you are with the ship. Skillful players have shown that the ship is a monster. In the other hand, average players are free candies when flying a Mauler.

well it seems to promote an agressive playstyle, as in fly the ship like a guard.
It’s a decent investment for invasion and PVE. PVP depends mostly on your ability and how as well as when you use it. It’s often never the issue of a ship not being good. It is more often the player expecting a ship designed for a specific roll, in this case a LRF, to fill the need of a different roll. Any ship you get can be the meanest ship on the field if used correctly at the correct time.
If we’re talking about Tacklers, I would spend my money on a Panther without any doubt. It’s an amazing ship. If we’re talking only about Jericho, well, Sawtooth is more sexy, but I think Lance Bartle is good enough (specially considering it has 1 more Engine slot). You could save that GS and spend them on something else.
If you want free slots for Invasion, and you don’t want a Fed ship, Sawtooth is good for that.
If you want to stay in t3 then those are both excellent ships. Well balanced so you can build therm in many different ways to suit your play style and adapt them as you change or get new ideas.
