Wow after grinding all weekend the way to T3 on Empire just to get a Frigate and a Command ship… I am wore out.

Couple of hard lessons. Ate up alot of GS 21K to convert the srygen generated by the Prem ships I was using just to level up the ships I needed to move on. Wow the grind is going to be aweful slow or costly.

Went back to T3 where I had my nice collection of FED covert ops and intercepts ( and now a few select Jericho and Empire Command ships)and got a RUDE awakening as I found my Fed T3 ships back at level 1. It was shamefully evident as I entered a couple of battles how inadequate they are at level 1 and now toothless as I was slaughtered by guard frigs and gunships (actually team work) as as sped through the group and attempted to lay a nuke (bomb)? which I now find just about useless.

I found that I no longer have standard missles so I get these pee shooters unguided which on a fully leveled frig is now just like hitting it with a BB gun… (new tactics time) !

I use too have nothing but Fed ships but I guess the realization has finally dawned for me you may need have a combination of races\factions ships.

Interesting with the command ships… more manuverable then the frigs…the firepower of a Gunship …kinda slow but you get to help out your side… but I tell you just like frigs there is a big bull’s eye on you… you will get ganged up on unless most of the “Other Team” are just playing shoot’em up. A couple of battles there were focused attachs by teams where it was no more than 10secs to wipeout the capt and anyone close by.

I think playing in fully blown T3 battle is tougher now if your a loner then it was before Ver 0.9.0 and not part of a squad or a bigger “corp”. Also in T3 you spend 2X the amount for replenishment then you did back in T2.

I guess though it is not as high as T4 as I have a T4 ship tried it a couple times and the cost was way up there so I backing off moving along for now…

Gaijin transmits their verbal appreciation in your GS expenditures. You get nothing in return.

 I think playing in fully blown T3 battle is tougher now if your a loner then it was before Ver 0.9.0 and not part of a squad or a bigger “corp”. 

 

In a way it’s easier to play in T3 now than before as many T2 pilots have graduated to T3 whilst veteran pilots moved on to higher tiers. You can say T3 is exactly like how T2 was.

Costs were alot higher before the patch. T4 repair bills were exorbitantly high before. Anyways - If you die alot, make sure it’s on that one ship. Don’t respawn multiple ships and only pay your repairs once your ship is totaled. Stay alive as much as possible without sacrificing team victory.

I just hope they don’t downgrade the guard ships,those things are amazing

You guys should really add a new class of ships called Destroyers! Im going to make a new discussion and a poll on this

Maybe the role sistem will be like that:

 

Ecm Ship:

130% effective Ecm mod

90% effective saboteur mod

50% effective in recon mod

 

that way, if you put a stasis in a ecm ship, the paralize time will be 130% the original value(3 sec will be 3,3sec exemple)

a saboteu mod will have 90% of your original value (a 30% damage orion complex will decrease the damage to 27%)

a recon mod will have 50% weaker( phase modulator duration from 4,5sec to 2,25 sec)

very interesting suggestion. i gotta admit this kinda makes the change look more fun than the current system in this way. I haven’t been around more than 3 months but I like the system of modules currently and do not need or want a change. but if a change is coming. this would be cool.
