really? i played a match as soon as the servers were back up and it went fine. i would be surprising to see them have problems so soon after the patch to fix them.

This was a quick restart.
(Correct me If im wrong) But every week on thursday nights they do a maintience, and do basically upgrades to the game.

You are correct, Sir! But in this case immediate patches were needed because of server failures due to the higher volume of players and TONS OF MONEY THEY RAKED IN ON STEAM… Erm that one got away from me there…
Nice fix 
now all we need is another update
