this has been happening lately @ random, full health, usually engaged w/ opponent, (real or npc), “self destruct” appears after, I don’t use overload or suicide modules…
If your escape or menu key is sticking it may be periodically being pressed while you click causing you to click abandon ship.
I kindof formed a reflex to do this in combat to deal the last bit of damage to a ship or kill someone behind me when I have nothing left to throw at them. Xp
Ship explosions are quite powerful at point blank.
